Crunch Fitness - Pharr

I love coming here! The staff and trainers are always so nice and helpful. I leave my son in the kids crunch while I work out and he always has a great time. The facilities are always pretty clean, I see the staff cleaning the machines and floors all the time, so this is by far the best gym I've been too (way better than Tru fit or Planet Fitness).

Drafted me even when they suppose had “froze”my account for 3 months..Then ended up finding out they didn’t even freeze my account at all.After countless calls trying to reach the manager it felt like it was hide n seek at this point…No thank you.

Me and my gym partner didn’t have any headphones on and relied on the gyms music to get us through, but at first they were playing not really workout music, but in the middle of the set they changed it to metal/rock which really got our pump going. Thanks to the guys in the front that really got the energy going!!!

Very nice, clean and welcoming. This Crunch Fitness location has saunas. The one in the women's restroom was out of service. Hopefully it will be repaired soon. Womens restrooms are very spacious and love the lay out. Come and visit! Your won't be disappointed 😌 …

I have been coming here for a couple of years with my membership that I got from a Crunch located in Dallas,Texas. I have the membership where you can use any location and bring a guest. I have brought guests with me to this location various times. Today 5/29/23 I brought my bf to workout with me, but since Edinburg location is not my home gym I cannot bring a guest… something about a new policy they are implementing. I’ve been to different Crunch locations throughout Texas and some states and never had this problem.

Much of the equipment is old and some is out of service. But NOT RECOMMENDED primarily due to unprofessional and untrustworthy staff and management. My family and I had a very bad experience with one of the owners (Rick) and front staff (Denny). While some staff (e.g., Jordan, Linda) are clearly quality professionals and people, others acted horribly unprofessional and untrustworthy toward us. Here is what happened - Rick offered us a deal as an incentive to join up (a card for my daughter to use to come with us as a guest for a number of non consecutive visits), which was HIS idea, then arbitrarily cancelled it before we had used all of the days (it was NOT expired). By that I mean, they told us (Denny) at the front desk, seemingly out of nowhere, and in a very rude way “this is your last day using the card.” When we asked why, standing there confused, they would not provide any sort of explanation and treated as if we had done something wrong; the way they acted toward us as we stood there at the front desk waiting to work out not only lacked basic customer service skills, but also basic human decency. It was really awful.Don’t trust their offers, don’t trust their initial nice demeanor (mentioned in many of the reviews). Don’t put you or your family in the position of being treated the same way down the road after all the niceness wears off.

Started going to this gym, I decided to get a trainer, and I was assigned to Christian G. I been training with him for the past 2 months, he has helped me alot with keeping me motivated and I will like to acknowledge his dedication to his clients also to mention the cleanliness of the gym, also I feel welcome every time I go when I get greeted by Kaylie and Jordan in the front desk, overall the staff very helpful and professional, this is my experience at this location. P.S. just wanted to share that I have gone 2 sizes down (clothing)

Thank you for offering to work with me on a new membership.This is the first gym I joined when I decided to start training. I left to join another gym then decided to come back. It is now under new management since I left, and there have been some changes. There is now a hack squat machine, which was not present before. This is a great addition to the gym as this exercise is one of the best exercises to build your legs. The benches are also now mobile, which means members can move them around the gym to their desired location and work out. I also appreciate the new management's diligence in implementing signs that enforce limits on the use of equipment during peak hours or during wait times.Although the gym is smaller than my former gym, I have access to more machines and weights during the time that I come, as it is not as crowded.On a final note, for anyone that desires a social media following related to fitness, this is a good gym to tag yourself and show others your results.

Amazing gym. Only my first day, but the hospitality from the manager, Ms. Veronica and the associate Jordan was amazing. They made the sign up process easy and fun. Tour was thorough and informative. Definitely going to enjoy this gym. And Veteran Owned 😉💪🏿💯 …

This gym is a 10/10!The employees are very helpful and heartwarming. You feel a great relationship towards them. It is very clean and provides a sanitizing stations in every direction you see. Their zumba is really fun, and the locker rooms are really nice. Each one has a sauna inside of them and it’s really refreshing. They have hydro massage ( which felt amazing) and have tanning. The prices per month is really cheap especially the premium one! Really amazing place to go to!
