The place is falling apart. At least 6 spots where the floor is caving in. Feels like you’re going to at least twist an ankle if not fall through entirely. The air conditioner condensation leaks into one of the squat rack areas and makes a puddle. Air conditioning barely works - it gets into the 80s on the ground floor and the 90s on the second floor.Finding a treadmill that isn’t broken is like a game of roulette.Pros: The staff is pretty nice.

Serious lifters: do not join. For starters, there’s a $120 (2 month) cancellation fee. Member for 5 months and I would not join again. There are zero flat surfaces due to wear in the floor mats, makes squatting and dead lifts very difficult and a bit dangerous.Equipment breaks all the time and goes months without being repaired. Since joining, 1 of 2 stair steppers has been out of order for 5 months, a pulley has been broke for 2 months, and my beloved hack squat machine broke two months ago and has not been fixed. Talking to other members, we all request maintenance constantly and nothing is ever done. Equipment is old and falling apart. There’s never enough bumper plates at popular hours. All this while maintaining a mask mandate and not requiring vaccination (like City Fitness).

Equipment: 5 out of 5 - This gym has more than enough equipment and most of it is in relatively good shape.Price: 3 out of 5 - The membership is kind of expensive, but given where its at, I can't complain too much. You are paying for the location.Cleanliness/Facilities: 1 out of 5 - If I was just rating general cleanliness I would've given it a 3/5. Its really not terribly dirty considering how much foot traffic/use the gym gets. I gave this a 1/5 because of the gaping water damage holes in the ceiling that have been there since ~2018. It has to be simple negligence on the behalf of the owner that has allowed there to be gaping holes in the ceiling for 3+ years. I really don't know how this place passes yearly inspections. They had plenty of time with the pandemic shutdown to address these issues and never did (despite saying they were in response to a past review).Another major issue is the temperature. We have had a couple straight weeks of 90-100 degree weather, and there is really no noticeable air conditioning in the building. Again, this comes down to cheap/negligent ownership. They should be concerned about the safety of their members at this point.Staff: 4/5 - All the employees are kind and pleasant. Only complaint would be that they occasionally play music WAY too loud to the point where your own headphones at max volume can't even drown it out.

trainer cancels appointments last minute and often. will lie to save his own behind. support email was dead silent despite contacting multiple times. impossible to cancel. absolute scam. do not waste you money. hopefully other location are not as unprofessional and dysfunctional but my hopes are very low

I have nothing nice to say about this establishment. It's cramped, a bit dirty, the bathroom is disgraceful and there's nothing special about the selection of machines. But mostly my issue is the absolutely terrible experience I had with personal training. My trainer accused me of being high on marijuana, pushed me too far so I was injured, mocked my diet, suggested I eat some pizza before I show up so I'd have energy, and most upsetting, gossiped about other clients.

WHY IS THE MUSIC ALWAYS SO LOUD. I have air pod pros with noise cancellation and I still have to turn the volume 75% of the way up because the music is so loud. It isn't loud all the time but around half the times I go it is. I don't think the front desk staff understand the music isn't for them. Almost everybody I see at the gym brings their own music so why does the gym have to play music loudly?

I attend the One South Broad location and I must say that this is hands down the best gym that I have ever belonged to! The staff knows all the members by their first names and always has something nice to say when you walk in the door. Regardless of what shape you’re in, the staff is encouraging and supportive of its members fitness goals. Alyssa, the Manager is awesome! She’s so professional and goes above and beyond to make sure the members have a good experience at the gym and will reach out to ensure they are happy with their membership. Crystal is an excellent Personal Trainer. I have been working with her for a few months now and I am so happy with the results. She will push you to the limit but is encouraging as well. It is just what I need to keep me from quitting when it gets hard. I would definitely recommend this gym and the One South Broad location in particular.

All the equipment I used was well maintained, freshly painted, and working great. The bench press was the perfect height and the hooks were exactly what they needed to be. All the weights were well organized and all the equipment was easy to find. The area was open, well lit, and well organized. Everyone there was also really friendly. I was a walk-in and the whole process was super easy. Thanks guys!

Sometimes, things are broken or worn down, sometimes the pace is a little dirty. But, if you're looking for a fairly comprehensive gym in Philly, they get the job done. They have everything you'd need and more and it's rare that you won't be able to get a machine even at busy times

A lot of the equipment is pretty beat up. Almost all of the freeweight dumbbells have rubber missing from their coating. Padding on the exercise equipment is worn as well. Decent amount of treadmills, ellipticals, and exercise bikes. …
