Matt is a great trainer, very experienced. He helped me train while I recovered from ACL/Meniscus injury. He designed unique effective workouts for me as I progressed through my recovery. Great gym, highly recommend!

This is the best gym I've ever gone to and probably the best kept secret in town in the way of gyms! Matt (the owner) is also the trainer for all members. He gets to know you personally and discusses your current fitness level and fitness goals. He then develops well thought-out, organized workouts for each day you plan to come in. Each workout is different from the last and different from everyone else's. The workouts are segmented into sets so you are easily able to see the plan for the session. He shows you how to correctly do each move and prioritizes safety and form above speed and weight. Matt walks around the gym guiding each member and lets you move at your own pace (which I find to be much more pleasant that working with a trainer in a person one-on-one session as I always then feel the need to rush). I have honestly never gotten bored working out at Matt's gym and always enjoy my time there (I typically go 3x/wk). Matt is very personable and approachable as are all of the members of the gym. There is a wide variety of members from young to older and of all body types and fitness levels. Everyone is friendly and the environment is comfortable (quint essential safe place in a world of otherwise not so gyms). The membership is a flat monthly rate and it is not difficult to start, pause or cancel your membership (unlike nearly all of the franchised gyms). The equipment in Matt's gym is top notch and there is just about everything imaginable there in the way of strength training. In the way of training, I consider this to be my forever gym.

Great gym! Great owner! If you want simple, well put together, and to the point workouts, this is the gym. Large focus on consistent and incremental increases. Great place!

Fibonacci Fitness is the best. I've been to big box gyms, but Matt's "One on Some" training is better. His understanding of how the body moves and functions helps me work out smarter and better. Matt is passionate about his work and it shows. I love this place and would recommend it to everyone of all ages.

Matt Blaha - Fibonacci Fitness, completely rehabbed my surgical foot! I had lateral ligament replacement surgery. I was with my PT for 2 months and was still in pain, and week. When I returned to Fibonacci Fitness Matt took me under his care and strength trained my foot. He did what the PT was doing but ten fold. I've been with him for 5 years, and will be with him for another 20 years. I cannot say enough about our amazing fitness center. We are a kind, supportive, and a super clean gym. Come workout with US!

Love working out here! Matt’s workouts are thoughtful and challenging. The atmosphere at the gym is amazing and all the equipment is top notch. I travel a lot for work and Matt is always quick to give routines that can be adapted to a hotel gym or even hotel room. Overall great value for the money.

I highly recommend Fibonacci Fitness to anyone looking for a personal trainer or small group training type of environment. Each day when you arrive Matt he has a personalized workout prepared for you. He demonstrates the exercise movements and monitors your form as you work through the workout. The gym is impeccably clean, well maintained and conveniently located at the corner of Cactus and 32nd street in Phoenix.Fibonacci workouts are similar to Crossfit & HIIT that I did in the past, but the focus is on form instead of speed and heavy weight. It’s everything I loved about Crossfit & HIIT, but with a lower risk of injury and designed to build both big and small muscles to help prevent injury. Best of all - there are NO burpees.

This is the real deal! I have been all over Phoenix trying out EVERY gym within a 20 mile radius of my house. I have been at this gym with Matt for less than a year and my body has changed SO MUCH! I’m leaning out & getting so much stronger! It’s unbelievable!!!! I am sore but not the break-my- back kind of sore like I was at Orange Theory. It’s the good muscle building sore! Matt does it right!!!

Matt is an outstanding trainer. He creates a great personalized workout for you and challenges people within their limits. One of my favorite things about Matt is making sure you have the correct form to avoid injury. Highly recommend!
