The studio is large and inviting with classes offered every day of the year. The instructors are always ready to help. Class variety reaches beyond one type of yoga, although I appreciate the hot studio.

Simply a life-changing experience. The best-trained and most considerate staff you will ever encounter. I've been practicing multiple times a week for 2 years after coming in as a total yoga newbie, and I can't say enough good things about BYPGH. You owe it to yourself to try them out.

I have been practicing for a few years, and although intense, bikram yoga is extremely beneficial to your overall health, and flexibility. The professionalism of the instructors is impressive and the studio is beautiful, and well-kept.

Bikram Yoga Pittsburgh is simply fantastic. The instructors are all amazing, professional, and incredibly supportive. In addition, the number of different instructors gives students the opportunity to hear the postures and ideas explained and stated in slightly different ways that, although they might sound identical to those not practicing, allow students increased opportunities to "get it" and progress in their postures and practice. The sense of community is terrific. And the owner and teachers make the practice even more interesting and fun by having world-class guest instructors, great workshops, different types of vinyasa yoga and shape shifting classes, and special Bikram classes (hot yoga in Halloween costumes anyone?). I can't say enough about this amazing studio and its owner and instructors.

I've been to a few different Bikram studios and was excited to try this one when I moved to the NW PA. The drive from my house was about 100 minutes and though people warned about the difficulty of parking in the area, I was not prepared for the challenge. After finally finding a legal place to store the car, I entered dripping wet (or course it was raining) and was greeted by a friendly face at check in. While helpful, the judgmental looks from the other patrons was pretty unpleasant and didn't improve as people realized I was filling out the first-timer at the studio forms. The class itself was pretty packed once we all got in there and the snarky comments from the instructor and some of the frequent attendees really killed the usual self-reflective vibe of practice. Instead, there were some pretty intense competitive yogi's and the instructor seemed much more excited about their competition than guiding us into our poses. I am pretty used to switching studios and keeping an open mind since I move often, but this felt pretty clique-y and distracting to my usual experience. Some people were clearly enjoying it, but overall, the I didn't really enjoy the feel.

No question about it... The teachers at Bikram Yoga are incredibly knowledgeable, dedicated, creative, engaging, and helpful, because they're both practicing yogis and dynamically trained leaders! This isn't surprising under the direction of owner/international champion, Zeb Homison, who continues to have a phenomenal practice while still teaching too. The studio invites my husband and me into its space that so aptly marries yoga's philosophy with the kick-butt workout that keeps us coming back! We learn something new in every class and always leave feeling so glad to have been there again! Other students reach out with friendly caring, even recognizing when our schedule has changed temporarily to keep us away from the studio. Even after any break though, we've always returned because we're committed to ever improved yoga practice as an amazing part of life's well-being and good health!

I have been a student here for almost four years and love everything about it. The teachers are phenomenal, the whole community is very welcoming and the studio is clean and well kept. They offer a ton of class times and are pretty much open every single day so there is no excuse really to not get into the hot room. This practice has been transformational for me and I have met some of my dearest friends here. Whether you are a new student or one that has been practicing for years, the class is very beginner friendly and can also be a challenge for regulars even though the class is the same 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Can't say enough great things about this studio!

I have been practicing at Bikram Yoga Pittsburgh for 6 years and attend class about 4 times per week. The teachers are enthusiastic, well trained, and helpful. There is always good energy in the class from the teachers and the yoga community that is well established there. The facility is kept very clean. The 90 minute class is a challenge but you go at your own pace and the teachers are encouraging and supportive for what ever your level of experience. Students of all ages and skill level practice together there in the same class. The advanced students provide good examples of what you can do with your body over time and practice. I seem to always look forward to class for the overall good feeling that comes to mind and body after class and how that same sense or feeling is shared by students and teachers.

Having done Bikram Yoga for several years now, I can say it keeps me healthy, strong, energized. The breathing alone seems to have eliminated my asthma. My back problems are not an issue as long as I maintain my weekly commitment. I have lost weight. I am more flexible. I feel like the poster child for the over-60 crowd!

Great teachers, great class, beautiful studio. For me personally going to class at least once per week has significantly and quite noticeably increased my lung capacity for singing. It has also increased my endurance for playing soccer and helps with flexibility. I would highly recommend this class for any singers or athletes who want a boost.
