FITNESS nGO GYMS

Attention fellow gym goers… After seeing advertisements of this gym on instragram, it caught my attention because it looked; clean, new, the machines high quality & and they had a sauna. As well as it looked spacious. I’ve read reviews on here before signing up; and I looked past them because I thought people might just be too critical. Unfortunately, the negative reviews I read couldn’t be closer to the truth. Lesson learned; people write bad bad reviews for a reason. Long story short, the marketing for this gym is borderline false advertisement, as well as blatantly lie about the quality of the equipment. If you like your saunas hot this is not the place for you. If you go during peak hours you will never get through a work out waiting to use a machine or bench and or someone waiting on you; which makes me feel rushed to get through my work out. Overall i go to the gym to relax & enjoy a nice pump. It’s hard to achieve a pump at this gym; borderline impossible to relax. If you’re someone who enjoys working out in a hectic environment this gym is for you. If you prefer to work out in a calm environment; I do not recommend fitnessngo. Edit after reply to review: You saw my review and say it was copy and pasted, I look at the reviews posted the same day and last few days prior; and I am failing to see a resemblance at all on topics discussed in mine compared to other ones I've read?

I recently relocated back to PSL after living in Miami for many years. Of course down south I’ve seen my fair share of gyms to choose from. This gym was a pleasant surprise when I saw the ad. It was also really easy to sign up. The owner did an outstanding job on the upgrades and love the cryo recovery and massage amenities offered. We’re fortunate to have this facility in St Lucie County. :)

Dear Public… the only thing this gym has going for it is a $2 million renovation that’s already going to sh*t.The marketing of this gym is relentless and honestly impressive. Impressive enough for me to switch to fitness n go and cancel my membership at crunch. This was a big mistake. I was willing to pay twice as much for the membership at fitness n go because it was closer to my house and I thought the massage chairs were really cool and they have a sauna. However, the entire first month I signed up the women’s sauna was out of service and the sign said it was scheduled for maintenance within a week. After waiting all that time I was even more disappointed when I found out how lukewarm it was and I didn’t even get hot. This might be because the sauna door is not designed to be sealed and lets hot air out under the door. As far as the massage chairs go after the “cool” factor wore off I didn’t find myself using them much but they are relaxingTheir instagram page claims the machines are “top of the line.” Coming from crunch I never had any problems with the machines or cables. But at fitness n go I quickly realized that the cables often don’t move smoothly which has ruined several of my workouts. And the machines have various design flaws. For example they have two fly machines at fitness n go, one of them the handles are noticeably uneven. And unfortunately the other one has screws that come loose which cause of the handles to be at an angle. Generally I’m just not able to get as good of a contraction with the machines at fitness n go.As far as the vibe in the gym, it’s very crowded during peak hours and feels like a club. That might be some people’s thing but I really don’t come to the gym to socialize, I come to get a quick workout in. But because it’s so crowded I usually don’t get to do everything I want to do unless I wait around for a while. If you’re looking to make new friends fitness n go seems like the perfect gym for that.It is honestly disturbing that there’s people on here who write their genuine feedback or experience and the staff replies with the same copy and pasted sound bite that they use in their deceiving advertisements. Feedback exists for a reason, to improve the experience of the gym for others and in turn make the establishment a better place overall. But fitness n go clearly just doesn’t care about improving their gym and is in some sort of denial.

Cables and machines are low quality and many of the machines are flawed, to give a few examples one of the fly machines has loose screws that literally fall out as I use it and that makes the left arm of the machine crooked giving me a uneven workout. The cables get stuck and your lucky to find a cable that moves smoothly and gives you equal tension throughout the whole rep. The tricep extension machine doesn’t have a back brace with makes it literally impossible to use without straining your back. Overall the machine are not optimal and cheaply made on top of it. If you’re an experienced lifter and are used to quality equipment and machines designed in a way that make sense I promise you at fitness n go you will feel a detriment to the quality of your lift.The Sauna is lukewarm and coming from the la fitness sauna that got the job done in 10-15 minutes tops, It takes me 20 minutes to even start to feel it. it feels like a waste of time because I could get a similar experience sitting in my car with the window up and ac off on a hot day. Unfortunately my girlfriend told me the sauna in the women's bathroom is even worse and she literally did not break a sweat in it after 15 minutes and gave up. (Yes she made sure it was on at full temp)Overpopulation is a big problem at this gym. If you’re someone who due to your schedule have to workout between 5-7 Monday through Wednesday 25% of your time at the gym will be waiting for the next machine or bench you want to use. Sometimes you get lucky and they only have 2 sets left. Sometimes they just started and you can either wait 15 minutes or do something else which is what your really forced to do if you wanna get your workout done in a reasonable amount of time. Despite the obvious overpopulation, the owner continually does sign up promotions but then turns around and says the reason there isn’t an unlimited guest pass option is because they don’t want the gym to be crowded. This is a blatant insult to the intelligence of the members. A more honest answer would be because they are a small gym without a lot of equipment. LA fitness has an unlimited guest pass option and they are not nearly as crowded.I Really wanted this gym to become my permanent home because it’s 2 minutes from my boxing gym which I go to after every lift so it is so convenient. But for the reasons I have mentioned the gym has negatively effected my workout so much that I am forced to switch to a different gym. Fitness n go is without a doubt the worst gym I have ever been to.

This gym is by far the best gym in PSL. I’ve been to Crunch, LA Fitness, & Planet Fitness but none of them have anything on Fitness N Go. Not only is it the cleanest facility, the staff, trainers, and members are all great. The equipment is new and awesome. They have a turf section for athletes, such as myself, a sauna that’s included in the membership, massage chairs, tanning, and so much more. This place makes me excited to get up everyday and go to the gym! Not to mention, the aesthetics are great for video and picture!

The best, and I mean best, clean and awesome gym/home to be! Very welcoming staff, the environment is great and the best gym in PSL!!!! Come and see for yourself why fitness n go is the place to be!!!

Very clean facility, a lot of care went into this place. Was looking for an earlier am access facility before 5am. Wish they would add 24hr or vip access.

I'm new to port st Lucie went to try the free day pass , still end up paying to try out the gym for the first time . Front desk guy said since my ID it's from south Florida I couldn't get free pass because I'm not from port st Lucie lol 😅 , I just literally moved here . But all good I guess I'll be signing up to another gym . …

If you’re looking to be disrespected and ignored this is the place for you!I have been going to this gym for several months and the management is absolutely negligent. I was threatened with assault by a child care employee, while I was carrying my child and there were zero repercussion for her actions, even though all of this was recorded on their cameras. This employee works in their kids klub & is trusted with children on a daily basis…

Very clean gym with all new equipment. Comparable to LA Fitness but includes a recovery room with massage, hydrotherapy, and cryotherapy chairs. Also has a sauna.
