I love Explore Movement! Kirsten Adler is a fabulous teacher. She listens & watches as she carefully coaches you to work your body correctly. She's creative and never runs out of new things to try. I have tried many pilates instructors and can say that Kirsten is one of the best.

I couldn’t be happier that my pelvic floor physical therapist suggested I see Kirsten! She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and non-judgmental, and she tailors each session both to your overall specific needs and to anything that may have surfaced that week. I initially signed up for 4 sessions but was getting so much out of it that I added on 8 more! Kirsten has an eye for alignment and gently guides you to do any movement in the most beneficial way, and I felt my body awareness grew tremendously. I always left feeling lighter, looser, stronger, and better aligned. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Happiness is completing a Pilates session with Kirsten! Pilates is about releasing the tension through stretching, toning our muscles and our bodies thirst for it. Kirsten is a wonderful instructor who cares about your workout. Each session is thoughtfully planned with a strong desire to encourage you to do your best. My shoulders and chest are my focus areas and after a session, I always feel an openness throughout my body. Pilates with Kirsten is great for your body and great for your soul. She is marvelous!

If you’re considering taking Pilates, definitely get in touch with Kirsten! She’s amazing - I can’t say enough great things about working with her. She is extremely knowledgeable about the body and its movement, and can incorporate help for any issues you may be facing into every session. Not only do I recommend starting sessions with Kirsten, I suggest sticking with them, as it only gets better with time!

I am so incredibly glad that I stumbled upon Kirsten and Explore Movement during my postpartum time. Kirsten is so knowledgeable and friendly. She made me feel at ease immediately and I really enjoyed my workouts with her, especially as I navigate connecting with my postpartum body. I highly recommend reaching out to her about scheduling some sessions!

In June, I was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis of the knee. Walking beyond a quarter of a mile was extremely painful. My orthopedic recommended gel injections and Pilates for improved mobility. I received a series of three gel injections and then began a 12 week Pilates series with Kirsten. By the end of the 12 weeks, I was walking comfortably for distances of 3 to 4 miles!! A bonus was improved posture, elimination of cramping in my feet and toes, and the ability to stand comfortably for extended periods of time - what a quality of life enhancement! And, Kirsten is an absolute delight.

My sessions with Kirsten were really fun and helpful! I started seeing her to rebuild strength after a knee injury took me away from working out for a while, and also to work on integrating my core and pelvic floor. My PT had recommended I work with Kirsten, and it was great. I always enjoyed visiting with her, and felt that my body was getting exactly what it needed from our sessions. Her space is great, and she is lovely!I recently returned to strength training/lifting weights in a gym environment, and I could really feel that the work with Kirsten had set me up with a great foundation (my trainer felt the same way and really noticed the foundational and integrative work I had done!).

Kirsten has been a real angel in my life. She is a master at her craft and is incredible at building a program that is both approachable and challenging. My relationship with my body has totally changed since working with her. I'm sitting up straighter in my chair right now hearing her voice in my head. To top it all off, she's a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

Kirsten was so helpful to me in building strength and body awareness in general and in helping me address upper back pain. She has a keen awareness of body mechanics and was quick to noticed subtle shifts in my alignment. She draws from a variety of experience and knowledge and always had suggestions for any other pain I happened to be noticing that week. I highly recommend her to anyone who is wanting to strengthen in a safe, integrative manner.

Doing Pilates with Kirsten helped me so much while pregnant and postpartum! I can’t say enough good things. I would leave her session with my body feeling so much more relaxed and mobile. I truly believe the movements we did each week helped me immensely during labor, delivery, and recovery afterwards. I had never done Pilates before and the benefits were incredible!! Kirsten is also super kind and fun to be around, an added plus to all the benefits Pilates provides!!
