I took my first boxing class here and the owner/instructor was so welcoming, I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience! The class was fun and not overwhelming but still very challenging. :)

McConnell's Boxing Academy is hand down the cleanest (practicing strict social distancing and health guidelines) and most community-driven gym I have been to. Working out with a world champion as your trainer as well as taking boxing instruction from Molly McConnell is life-changing. You learn discipline and technique from a master and most importantly, she and her staff are supportive of your health endeavors. They are your cheerleaders! Check them out!

I lost track of how long I have been a member of McConnell's Boxing Academy. However, it has probably been about 2 years now. The gym never ceases to amaze me. There are so many wonderful things I could say about this favorite boxing gym of mine. More recently, the gym has helped me to achieve my personal fitness and boxing goals. The morning classes have helped me tremendously to strengthen my body, lose weight, tone my body, condition my cardiovascular system, and learn boxing concepts (e.g., combinations). I credit the aforementioned to the amazing coaches. I have been coached by David, Kate, Mel, and Jesse. Every one of these coaches is amazing and very knowledgeable. In addition to boxing, I am a jiu jitsu practitioner and it is exciting that the morning classes have helped me with my jiu jitsu development. I never imagined that my classes at McConnell's Boxing academy would complement my jiu jitsu training as well. Because of the morning classes, I am stronger at jiu jitsu and I neither run out of breath nor get tired easily. I wanted to achieve this level of fitness for a long time and the morning classes empowered me to reach this goal.My Mixed Martial Arts training partners, at my jiu jitsu training center, have also complemented me on my boxing, which I attribute to boxing at McConnell's Boxing Academy.I am so grateful to be part of McConnell's Boxing Academy and I recommend this gym to everyone!

Both my boys (ages 8 and 13) are participating in summer boxing camp. They love it. Molly and Mel are terrific.
