This was such a lovely climbing gym. We were just here for bouldering today, but the roped section looked amazing as well. As for bouldering, there were a great number and variety of problems, so even after two hours there were still lots in my range that I didn’t have the chance to try, plus it never felt crowded. The extended bouldering wall over the slope is such a cool design feature too. The two friends I brought bouldering for the first time really enjoyed it as well! I’m just in Portland for a couple days, but I wish my city had gyms as solid as this.

Great amenities and progression for new climbers. Intro+ is a great option for those who are in the process of deciding if they want to fully invest in the sport or not.The only thing that is keeping me from giving this place a 5 star rating is that I have come across a fair bit of greasy/slippery holds. Not the end of the world but would appreciate it if the staff could address this issue some way.

This place is my sanctuary. The gym, sauna, incredible climbing facilities, yoga, etc… this place has everything. You don’t have to be a climber. The people who come here and work here are incredibly friendly, interesting, people who aren’t just focused on typical gym “gains”. There’s a lot of flexibility based workouts that I see people do that have really broadened my horizon of what I consider strength. No matter your athletic/gym experience, you will be humbled by the true athleticism that walks through here and be inspired to try new things. On top of this, staff and management do an outstanding job of being inclusive.

Lots of climbs, loved the pump wall, and the space is beautiful! Great place to be on a rainy day in Portland.

I was able to experience this facility only 2 times but it was awesome! Incredible staff that go above and beyond to meet your needs. Very clean and overall a fun environment! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something different than a traditional gym.

I’ve have been in many bouldering gyms. Only this one has a paid parking 2.20 per hour. They do not have a parking you park on the street. Also, I found here pretty small bouldering area. This gym for 1-2 days to do all 2 levels of climbing. If you do a sport climbing this gym fits better but for bouldering it sucks. On the picture you can see all bouldering walls the have. Probably like 6-8 routes each level.Holds extremely greasy. In LA the same chain gym much better for bouldering. No area for kids, they train with adults. Heavily crowded on weekends.I suggest do not buy monthly pass through here. Try it first. I went two times only because of here nothing to do for boulder’s.

This place reminds me of Vertical world in Seattle. This place has a decent gym area. It is cleaner than all the Seattle metro bouldering and top rope gyms ( edgeworks , sbp, vertical world). This place has a lot of lead climbing for sure. For serious boulder peeps, this place could use more "angle walls".Street parking around the pearl. My friend and I parked couple of blocks away.I took a class there and since I toprope and Boulder before, it wasn't bad. The class size is 4 people. The price of the class wasn't bad, $30, in Seattle it is like $45/$50. I would say the class was a 6.5/10.However, the membership price here feels high for Portland.

My go to climbing gym in Portland for Top roping. They are the largest gym in the city and their employees are exceptionally good and talented. The walls are quite tall and there’s a route for everyone. Their weight training place is pretty big too and offer a lot of space for calisthenics workThe place has shower room, towels and lockers as well.

I’m so glad this climbing gym exists! No only is the place massive, but it has a variety of fun and challenging top rope, bouldering, and lead climbing routes. My favorite part about climbing here is that afterwards I get to reward my body with a nice warm-up in the sauna. Every time I leave, I look forward to coming back!

I've climbed here as an adult and as a parent. With over 7 years climbing experience, I can say that this is the best gym in Oregon. Kids will enjoy the top rope and bouldering areas. Just make sure to brief them on the rules and you're good to go!Adults have a lot of flexibility in terms of what they want to climb. Gym has a good deal of stem and makes use of all different techniques. I like the lead areas and bouldering area has so much to offer. Gym route setting pace is phenomenal, fresh routes every week!
