Only 4 stars because of the lack of size-inclusivity.I love the coaches, the staff, the community and the workouts. But, Orangetheory needs to do better with their sizing of clothing. I wear a woman's 18 top, which, by your sizing is a 3X. I couldn't get a Hell Week tank top in that size. It makes me feel like less of an athlete. As though OTF corporate only cares about their brand be represented by smaller sized people. It's really sad to see that this is so slow to change. I've written letters to corporate about this in the past. As a size 18, I'm hardly on the high end of the average American. Do better.

Working out at Lloyd was quite the treat with nice equipment and great people. Everyone was so welcoming and kind to me when I signed up for my first class! Very happy I signed up. I love being able to attend a class in the morning before work to get my day started off on a high note. Welcoming staff, great instructors!

I know these OT studios are more or less the same, but I really love this location! So convenient, and each trainer comes with their own twists - some will encourage you to stay in the green zone longer, while others really push for red. This is nice because it let's me choose my intensity. The row machines have the iPads connected with your OT band, which is nice.Only small issue: sometimes the space feels a little tight, depending on the floor and row workouts and if it's a full class.

When speaking with a manager on 10/11 I was told that would be my last bill date and that my account with Lloyd would be closed 11/11. Upon reviewing my credit card bills I saw that I was charged for 11/11. I contacted the manager and was told I could not be refunded for their mistake. I was left feeling like it was my word against theirs and after being a loyal member for years am left with a horrible taste in my mouth.

There are many things that I like about the Orange Theory Workouts.1) I love that the class routine changes each day. My body and mind stay stimulated and continue to work different things.2) The hour goes by quickly because of the way that's designed. I LOVE that!3) The heart monitor helps me check in with my body and pace. It gives me real time visual feedback to help me adjust my workout accordingly.4) I really enjoy the environment and positive staff that is part of OTF. It feels personal and like a community.5) My body sees and feels results!Thank you!

Poor customer service.I enjoyed the classes. However, when I purchased the heart rate monitor which attaches to the Apple watch recommended by the staff, I had issues from day 1. I did all troubleshooting steps to no benefit. I would explain my issue to the staff each time I go to workout and they would tell me that the manager will call me and have it sorted. It took the manager 4 months and firmly worded email to finally get in touch with me. And the manager said I would need to spend more money to mail it to their HQ, where they would spend several more weeks diagnosing it. Other staff said that they have received several complains for this monitor. Why are you recommending the monitor for purchase which you know has been giving users trouble? Why not reach out sooner when someone complains about a product you have sold? Why not make the resolution swift and hassle free? I even offered to take the cheaper one for replacement and forgo the difference.. When someone reaches out to sign up, how soon do you call them back to get them enrolled? Why not show the same enthusiasm when addressing customer complaints? The experience has left a bitter taste and I’m cancelling my membership out of principle..

The coaches at Lloyd Center in Portland, and really all the Portland studios, have been outstanding and are one of the main reasons I continue to go. They strike the right balance of pushing us but also recognizing that some of us there are not striving to hit PRs on every run, row, or lift. I particularly have to recognize Elissa from Lloyd Center and how she starts every class by having us check-in with ourselves on our energy level and what are our intentions for the class, as both are different for every person every day. I also am amazed at how well the coaches really get to know you. It's like having a personal trainer there for you. The coaches should get a great deal of credit for the success of OTF, for if it were not for them I'd have looked elsewhere a long time ago.

OT Lloyd was my first studio/ intro to OT and I truly loved the atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and engaging that it really makes it feel like a community. Daniel at the front desk is an all-star who always goes above and beyond, including remembering names. The coaches are very intuitive to assist when needed and push you to challenge yourself. I have since moved, but miss this studio every day! Excited to come back when I am in Oregon next. I have learned that not every studio is the same and this one is a stand out!

In the four years I’ve been at Orangetheory, I’ve never gotten around to leaving a review.Oops.Beyond the excellent workout, high energy, fun playlists, and all that jazz — THE STAFF shines bright. The coaches keep me coming back because of their engagement and the people at the front desk that learn my name and remember life details always make me smile. The management is their own type of special. They understand the human factor and life’s complications. Whatever ethos they’re running in the studios is gold. I’m continually impressed.Daniel worked with me on a particularly confusing problem and went above and beyond. Extra kudos for doing what you do through the confusion of a global pandemic. And really, I’m so thankful.

This is such a great environment, I’ve always been so nervous to sign up for a gym. They can be intimidating places sometimes but the team here is very welcoming and the small sizes of the classes really allow the coaches to be able to support everyone there. Highly recommend
