Peak Performance - NE Portland Gym

It is a great little gym. I'm currently working with a trainer and I hope the trainers here teach you facts about nutrition like the trainers over at another gym I belong to did.Lots of machines pretty well ventilated, but it's a small space, so you feel like you're at a neighbourhood gem instead of some overwhelming mega gym

My wife and I are visiting Portland and we found everything we needed here on a day pass. There is plenty of equipment (lots of racks, plenty of dumbbells and plates). We were pleased that it wasn’t too crowded while we were there. I finished up with 20 minutes in the sauna which was nice and hot.Asa at the front desk was very kind and helpful.

I moved to Peak last year after 10 years at Me Fitness. It's a great little gym in a prime location. The staff are super friendly, and very helpful. They have a great team. And I love that they have a sauna. They have a nice array of kettle bells and 6 rack stations which means I'm rarely waiting. This is great.I posted a more critical review earlier and their manager responded to me immediately with a super thoughtful and kind email. I so appreciate this attention to relations. It means a lot and goes a long way. From that, I am adjusting my review a bit.A few thoughts on things I'd like to see change:1. I'd like to see another Lat pull down machine. The one that is there is often being used. While I can do similar exercises in other ways, It's nice to have the actual lat pull.2. The TV's in the weights area are a bit much and distract from my workout, and more the overall vibe. I get enough screen time in my life and I'd enjoy coming to my power hour with less screens. I was invited to ask to turn them off, which I appreciate. And, I'd much prefer to just not have them there and to navigate other people maybe wanting them on. It's not a dealbreaker, but a strong pref!Overall it's a great little gym. I come 3X a week and intend to continue.CheersRobin

Went to check yoga classes. The gym has a lot to offer. I normal go to the one on lombard. This one far bigger

I love how it has the local shop feel but also has everything going on and lots of space. Racks, turf, multiples of equipment, and the workout room in the back is full of everything you need to do your own warmup and circuits. Bathroom, showers, suanas are always clean. Kris at the front desk is such a friendly face!

Mike is an excellent employee, always going the extra mile and making it a great place to work out. I recommend this gym for quick in and out workout without hassle. Has everything you need and great service!!

The best gym in Portland! I moved 30 minutes away and I still drive here. Awesome, warm community, functional equipment, and six squat racks with oly platforms. What more could you want!!!? And all the staff is awesome, especially Tristan and Ashley.

When I do go to the gym, I do enjoy it! Great staff that always greets you when you walk in! They offer free daily classes that have great teachers. I've been to Greg's yoga class a few times and always love it! More exercise than meditative but they do have meditative one on the weekends! Comfortable space with lots of equipment! Showers and sauna are a plus! The only improvement I would want is more abs machines but there are so many ways to work those other than being on a machine! Highly recommend this if you live in the neighborhood!

Great locally owned gym. It has all the basics. Plus a sauna/showers. There usually aren't too many people here (unless it's 5pm) and so you can usually get to the equipment that you want. There was a customer who was pretty rude to me while I was there and when I talked to the staff, they dealt with the situation in a very professional way. Highly recommend!!
