I have never felt more welcomed in a new program that I have enrolled in. I am always warmly greeted by staff (by name I might add) and given support and encouragement. I highly recommend Portland Yoga Collective to anyone and everyone. They provide a large variety of classes for everyone at all levels and all circumstances. Jess is the best!!!! As is all of her staff that I have met.

Portland Yoga Collective is an AWESOME space with great people. You can tell that the teachers are very experienced and attuned to the needs of the class. I leave each class feeling a unique sense of calm and rejuvenation.I recently moved to Maine and was looking for a yoga studio that felt welcoming and supportive of newcomers. I have felt extremely welcomed and supported in this space and would recommend it to anyone hoping to expand their practice and/or their community.

After losing my long time yoga studio to the pandemic, I was joyous when I first walked into Portland Yoga Collective. I knew it was my new yoga home. Wonderful yoga instructors and a magnificent space.....and Jess, the owner, is awesome. If you are looking for a new yoga home or just visiting the area, grab your mat and run to PYC. I call it my "yoga church".John Messer

I have been to a number of yoga studios in Portland since moving here and none of them compare to the experience that Portland Yoga Collective offers. Everyone who works there is so genuinely welcoming and engaging. My first class there, the instructor asked my name, how long I have been practicing, if I have any injuries she should know about, etc. The quality of the classes has been excellent - challenging, yet accessible, and with time and space to go deep into the physical asana as well as the meditative side of yoga. PYC offers a very well rounded program of classes, each of which have been really wonderful, and Jess and her team there go above and beyond to be kind, personable, and lovely. I love PYC!

I have been doing yoga in Portland since moving to Maine in 2020, and I'm ashamed it took me so long to try PYC! A friend recommended the studio, and from the very first class we took, Jess, the owner, made sure we had a wonderful expereince. She was extremely welcoming, taking the time to get to know us by name, and even sending us an incredibly thoughful note to follow up on our first class. I have found each teacher at PYC to bring the right mix of challenge and integration of the "non-athletic" and oftentimes overlooked elements of yoga. The studio has a great vibe and community-minded clientele. My husband and I have enjoyed it so much that we signed up for their Student Training in the fall - another testament to their committmment to be more than just another teacher training-pushing studio. Thank you, Jess and team!

PYC is a slightly hidden gem in the heart of Portland! The facility is bright, open, and clean. The classes offered provide variety in style, format, and are appropriate for all levels.

Great balance of offerings from power flow to yin variations with lots of specials from skilled teachers. I’m so glad I found PYC! I’ve been practicing yoga since the late 90’s and have ranged from Iyengar to Bikram. I like to mix it up and PYC seems to offer everything I need.

PYC is an inviting studio that allows you to practice yoga without pressure. They have an adorable little studio with gorgeous exposed brick and a lack of mirrors which creates an environment where you can just focus on how you feel in the movement of class. The staff (owner and teachers) are so welcoming and engaged. Practicing here has quickly become a highlight of my week. They also offer fun classes at local businesses in Portland and an outdoor series during the summer, both of which I’ve tried and recommend! If you need a little yoga in your life, get your butt to PYC!!!!! :))

I have loved every experience and class I’ve taken with PYC! Jess and her team have created such a wonderful atmosphere that always leaves me feeling restored and energized. Liz’s Tuesday vinyasa class has quickly become the highlight of my week. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just getting started, PYC has your back!

I found PYC when I was looking for a community that would help me embody my highest self.I was looking for a place I can go to connect with my self as a whole and a place that offers the practices that resonate with me. The teachers does an amazing Job at being mindful of everyone is with their body, which is something I personal value in a teacher! At PYC, I found teachers that are patient, a place I can go to when I want to ease my mind and maintain a good habit!
