This is one of the best-run clean gyms out there. I really love how I can get into the gym whenever I want and not have to wait for equipment to open up. They have a good level of users so it’s not generally too busy.

Best gym I've ever trained at. The entire staff is awesome. Great community. Never too crowded and pretty much has all the equipment you could ask for. Have belonged to 10+ gyms in my life and never felt compelled to leave a review until this one.

I should have written this review Spring 2022 when I packed up and left Portland/Beaverton behind. Yet, maybe it speaks more authentically that a year has passed and the kindness and inclusiveness I felt at RDFiT has not abated in my memory.I came to RDFiT to work out off peak hours and do my own thing. I met Brad upon becoming a member and immediately the guy matched my energy and made me feel welcomed. No upselling, no tacit judgment. Yes, the dude is jacked, but he doesn’t subtly rub your nose in it, you know? The only thing he impressed upon me was that I work out how I wanted. He even offered to comp me a bootcamp class AND attend with me to see if it would suit my goals. This offer, to some rando who had come in off the street, from the OWNER. After that first day, that casual trusting atmosphere continued to grow. Some days I would come in and see the same people from previous sessions. We would smile and go on our way. Other times I would see one of trainers coaching a new customer - always professional yet firm, clearly involved in making that person better. When I would cross paths with Brad it was never an interruption - he somehow knew if I was open to chat or needed to focus (the man knows fitness and if you’re around the gym enough you can’t help but pick things up).Yes, you can join Planet Fitness down the road and think you are “saving money,” toiling on the junky little purple machines with corporate “slogans” leaking from every nook and cranny and disinterested teenagers flirting at the front desk barely looking up from their phones (forget motivating you) to hear you scan your “member” QR code.ORYou could join a quality gym with real equipment, support a local business, link up with very reasonably-priced personal trainers to push yourself, meet people in your community (over time or more quickly if it’s your style) and, most importantly, not reduce another element of your personality to the moral and motivational equivalent of junk food (Planet Fitness = McDonalds of exercise). As an added push, I bet when Brad reads this review (and he will, as the very attentive business owner he is) he’ll smile and remember me. Not vaguely as a “yeah sure…” former member but individually as Mateo. And he’ll remember you too if you’re ready to take your goals, your time, and yourself seriously (pressure’s on!)

I love this gym. It has a great fitness community, everyone is so friendly. The trainers are helpful and know their stuff. It’s clean, people actually wipe equipment down. I train with Aaron and he’s so awesome! Keeps me motivated, and accountable. It’s challenging but we still have a lot of fun!!

This is a fantastic gym for lifting weights and functional fitness. The gym uses space really well. They have lockers, showers and cubbies. The dumbbells go all the way up to 130 lbs and the machines are great. This gym has everything a gym rat needs. They also offer really cool boot camp classes and other group classes. The staff is great. Jordan was very helpful.
