By far the best gym I've been to in Portland. UAC has options for everybody and is particularly great for lifters looking for plenty of racks and lots of equipment that you don't find in normal big box locations. I rarely have to wait for anything and the members and staff are friendly and unpretentious. A 10/10 neighborhood gym for people looking for a good workout with a good crowd.

UAC is a hidden gem. Sean is constantly upgrading the facility / equipment, and maintaining equipment as required.A lot of different equipment, so you are not limited in what you can do. No long waits for equipment and everyone is super friendly.Sad to be moving.

Awesome gym. The facility is well equipped with every machine you'd want, multiple power racks, benches, and free weights the staff is also super nice

Sean (the owner) is a chill dude and the gym is wonderful. It is never so busy that you can't find a machine and it has one of the best communities in a gym that I have been a part of.

Changed my life. I've tried to get motivated to take care of my body before but it never took before I joined UAC. Since I signed up in September, I've gotten to the point where if I don't get to go to the gym for a few days I find myself missing it. I'm in better shape, I have more energy and most importantly I feel better about myself and my life. It's such a welcoming community, the staff is so knowledgeable and helpful and the space itself is great and always getting better. I'm hooked.
