Getting back in the gym after years off was super stressful. West Coast Fitness made it easy! Very kind staff. They gave me a tour before I bought. They have everything I need for both lifting and cardio!

I had a horrible experience here, sadly. This is mainly focused on customer service, kindness, and understanding. The gym had to shut down due to COVID like a lot businesses. During this time they decided to make a unilateral decision for ALL of their members, and put a soft "freeze" on the accounts while continuing to charge $10 a month. They've since resumed charging full-price, and are partially open. While this gym seems to be following health and safety guidelines, I am not comfortable working out in a public space indoors. The announcement to resume charging full price was not sent through a physical letter, but just emails that can easily be lost in spam filters. Why not keep the accounts on a soft freeze until that person actually walks back in the door? Answer: more money. When I attempted to cancel last month, I was given the run-around and told the membership coordinator was out of the office. Then he was on vacation.I finally get him on the phone and am met with zero kindness or understanding. He wouldn't work with me on a partial refund or even avoiding the monthly charge going through today, October 14.He kept pointing to the contract that was signed, even though West Coast Fitness made decisions outside of that contract when the COVID shutdown happened. So to sum it up this gym charged me over $200 for services I wasn't using DUE TO A PANDEMIC. And will not work with me at all.I would highly recommend going to another gym if you can.

I appreciate having the drop-in fee to use the gym or go to one of the group fitness classes. This option is so amazing since I don't live nearby. If you're looking for something for a flexible schedule, I would recommend checking out West Coast Fitness and taking advantage of the drop-in fee right now.

Such a great gym. It's literally huge, tons of equipment... I've never waited for a piece of equipment ever. Super-nice folks working there. And the whole outdoor area? If you're serious about improving yourself physically, this is a fine place to do it. West Coast Fitness gets the King's Approval. 🏆 …

I have been a member and fan for lord only knows how many years at this point. I will be honest I think if you compare this gym to big-box gyms you will find yourself disappointed and lacking. But this is what makes it special and my go-to. It is small community and family. The staff knows you by name and makes you feel appreciated every time you walk in. They have worked hard through the COVID crisis to help members any way they can and to make the gym a safe place for people to come. The equipment is always clean and in great shape. The trainers are always willing to answer questions and help you build a plan to help you succeed. Its owned by members of the St. Johns community and they are invested in trying to make things better. Remember this gym was in a galxay long ago a furniture store, the layout an be a little off putting but they make the best use of the space (and social distancing). Most importantly they CARE. Which is something other gyms just dont seem to get (unless you are in another smaller gym)

Great gym, friendly staff, very clean and a lot bigger on the inside than it would appear from the outside!

For members turning 62: Remember to speak to management to have your monthly rate reduced to $25. As an oversight on my part, I continued paying the full rate for 6 months. After no reimbursement and an unsympathetic attitude on the owner's part, I've found another gym option in the area and cancelled my membership.

Great gym, great staff, great classes... I've been going daily for the past 3 months and have had a fantastic time losing weight and getting fit. Membership includes yoga, cardio, kettlebell classes... Would totally recommend.
