Excellent place to train in martial arts and Krav Maga. I am a student in TKD and this is the best place I have ever trained at. Great and well informed instructors and an awesome Master instructor, Master Paul Chay. The students are really kind and helpful as well! I would definitely recommend this dojang if you are interested in TKD or even Krav Maga.

I go to Chay’s for their Krav Maga sessions.I have been attending for a few months now and I feel my self defense confidence rise. There are 5 instructors that I am familiar with, and I’ve had a great time learning with all of them. The instructors are even students on occasion and join us in the drills we do for the day.I entered the one hour long sessions unprepared and not as fit as I would have liked to be, but they’ve worked with me and encouraged me to keep pushing.I’m able to attend classes with more energy now than I had before, I don’t struggle as much as I did with some of the warmups, the workouts are getting easier, and I’ve even noticed I’ve started to get slimmer! In a world where, unfortunately, there is a crime at a level that there is, I’m glad and proud to say I’m a student of Krav Maga at Chay’s Tae Kwon Do, and that I’ve learned (and still am learning!) how to defend myself out there and not be a victim.I would recommend the class to any and all to at least try, for either the discipline, self defense knowledge, or activity for weight loss, it really is a top notch choice.

I’ll start with stating that Martial Arts is a world full of surprises - and is something that every person should try once in their life. The strength and beauty that goes into every stroke, movement, and gesture truly defines the meaning of ‘art’ in it’s name. And it is the art of mastering the body and building trust with your muscles, reflexes, and instincts. My first impression of Chay’s was joyous. I was never a very physical person and I remember on my first day, I couldn’t even do a push-up; but Chay’s Tae Kwon Do wasn’t a place of judgement, instead it is a powerful guiding hand. I came to Chay’s and joined Tae Kwon Do looking for discipline within myself and found it reflected in the students who attended here.To aspire for success and having the strength to push towards it is something that everyone should be able to achieve - but if you’re feeling stuck, search for inspiration in something new and give Chay’s a try. You’ll find that a bit of exercise and truly wonderful people can make all the difference. For parents, remember that everything your child learns today will help carve their path towards a greater future. Give your children the best foot forward!

Chay’s TKD in Racine is a great place to send your children. The discipline and encouragement that they receive is second to none. Both of our sons have attended and have been instilled with lifelong habits that will help them to be successful and encouraging members of society. Master Chay and all of the instructors show compassion and take the time to make sure that achievement is reached with effort that is put forth by the students. With hard work and a little humor, just about everyone can succeed!

My oldest son has been attending Chay's for a little over 2 years. We've been very happy with his growth as an athlete and as a person. Chay's helps him develop goal setting skills and a growth mindset while encouraging discipline and respect. As an example, when he signed up for the latest tournament - his first - he told me his goal was to win first place. He then practiced routinely, recorded his progress on paper, and occasionally asked me to record videos so he could see what he was doing and fix any mistakes. He not only took first place for his group, he ended up being the grand champion for the belt division he was in.

My daughter showed interest in Tae Kwon Do after Master Chay came to their classroom last year. She was doing gymnastics at that time and had an invitation to join the advance team because she has the potential to become a gymnast. However, she does not like to compete so she declined the invitation. She asked me if she could do the trial lessons at Chay's Tae Kwon Do, which she did after 2 weeks of putting it off. Today, after a year of doing Tae Kwon Do lessons. My daughter moved from no belt to green belt and even became the Grand Champion in this year's tournament. All of these happen because Chay's Tae Kwon Do offers an organized and structured but fun Tae Kwon Do lessons. The school fosters positive attitudes to their students, develop their self-esteem and believe in their students capability to become the best they can be.

My kids and I took Tae Kwon Do years ago, we all loved it! I appreciated how it helped the kids with goals, manners and focus. The instructors are awesome and great with the kids! I now have signed up for the Krav classes and again the instructors are awesome! The class gives a great work out with learning a versatile self defense. Definitely recommend!

Joining Chay's has been an excellent experience for our family. We enrolled three of our kids and we've seen them gain so many benefits. Discipline, self confidence, fitness, strength, flexibility. Master Chay and his instructors maintain a positive environment where your kid, if he/she puts in the effort, can learn and excel. Highly recommended.

Our family is having an excellent experience at Chay's Tae Kwon Do. My oldest daughter loves the Tae Kwon Do classes. She is advancing through the belts while improving her self-discipline, focus and manners. Master Chay and his team of instructors are great!I take Krav Maga twice per week. It's a really good workout, and I am learning practical self defense skills. I highly recommend it.
