Nice facility, but no phone number to talk to someone. They force you to communicate via their app, but then just send you automated responses not actually addressing your issue.

Crowded, was promised a martial art room 2 years ago. No cold plunge. Classes stay full

Best gym I’ve ever belonged to. Amenities are top notch and their kids clubhouse is a dream-my kids love it!

The gym is much more modern with a younger crowd than the Redondo location, but the one in Redondo has more free weights and cardio equipment. It gets crowded later in the day.

It’s a large facility, so even though there are dozens of people, it doesn’t feel crowded! They keep it clean, fresh, locker rooms also very nice. Having the food right there is so convenient!

Private equity purchased Bay Club years ago and in that time, membership fees have soared well over 100%, (now in the $200s per person!), yet there have been minimal updates to anything warranting this increase. They have also maximized profits by allowing discounted family memberships with decreased rates for teens, which only increases the number of high schoolers hanging out here on their parents dime. Constant shortage of towels, jacuzzi and pool are dirty, nowhere to park even in off peak hours (lot isn’t even enforced) the free coffee is terrible, and staff is generally unpleasant about helping with anything. Redondo Beach location is even worse with an aging 1980s locker room, rotting mold and sewer problems, and a constantly rotating deluge of broken equipment. Stop increasing the pricing, members are fed up— this isn’t an elite country club.

The club is nice but do not match the high fees. I put my membership on hold and was charged a full month then when I ended my membership was charged another full month within 2 month span.. I was called to ask for my feedback and when I gave my feedback there was no compensation for this error. I reviewed the policy shared with me and it did not support the fees applied.

One of my favorite parts of the day is going to this gym. They have many great classes, a wonderful daycare if needed, the food is good and the sauna, steam room situation is a relaxing treat. Everything is clean and well maintained, the people who work and go there are kind and pleasant. Parking can be challenging on a bad day and popular classes need to be signed up for in time to not be put on a waitlist. Coffee is free from 8-11 am and the shower/locker rooms are equipped with anything you may need.

Joined this location Bay Club less than a month ago and enjoying mostly the pool classes and spa so far . Tried a Zumba class this morning after Ms. Karla V. sub on a Friday aqua cardio class and fell in love with her energy, music and choreography! This morning being my first Zumba class I was happily tired and my quads burning from Karla’s class. I can see all her students loved her vibes! Thank you Karla!! Hope to attend more of your classes and get healthy!!! 💕
