I am so fortunate to have found this gym to begin my fitness journey. The small group exercises and personalized attention from the trainers makes me feel confident that I will reach my fitness goals. I realized from the other gym members that age is just a number! Kei and Mars will push you harder than you ever thought you could go. And you'll do it much to your own amazement! Two years ago, I had bad checkups and Drs said that I was heading down a path of heart and blood problems. Today, I am running 5Ks and doing burpies. Never, ever thought i could do that. Heath is back to normal and check-ups are great.Kei and Mars are real fitness professionals. The are trained in cardiovascular health and will spot you through your transformation.Oh and don't be cheap when it comes to running shoes. Buy custom, expensive shoes. Your feet, Achilles, planters, knees and hips will thank you.Top notch, understanding, sympathetic and downright ruthless trainers. Highly recommended.

Mars and Kei are the best and most supportive personal trainers around!! They just opened their own location on 190th and Anza which is very convenient for anyone living in Torrance or the surrounding area.In the few weeks that they trained me, I feel healthy already and my friends all say I look happier.They are committed to me and I just need to do my part and be committed to them.

I am very grateful to have found DGF and train with Mars and Kei. It's easy to see how passionate these two trainers are and how much they love what they do. Each of them have their own style of training, but are both effective in getting you results. Before coming to this gym I thought personal training was just working out inside the gym. After training with these guys, you really get more than just that. At DGF you get a personalized workout routine designed specifically for your goals. It is not just some workout you can find online and expect to get the same results. Most importantly, they really take the time to get to know you and this shows how much they care about their clients. If you are looking for a fun and challenging workout stop by DGF, you won't regret it!

If you want to have a great workout, get positive results and have a good time doing it then Dynamic Grit Fitness is the place to be. There are a lot of gyms out there so what’s different about this one? Simply put…Mars and Kei. They are masters when it comes to physical fitness and nutrition. They’ve had extensive training, are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. There are no judgements here. You’ll feel comfortable right from the start no matter your age, size or what level of fitness you're at.Mars and Kei take a genuine interest in all of their clients, they listen and help you achieve the personal goals you set for yourself. They learn what you are capable of and challenge you to do more. There’s nothing routine about your workout, either. They change it up every day, always with the emphasis on safety and proper form.The classes are small, which is nice because you get to know the other members, everyone supports each other, you make some new friends and you still get that one-on-one attention. I love that they are always positive, upbeat and crazy funny. You can’t help but laugh while working your butt off! As an added bonus, everyday Mars teaches us about nutrition and Kei does a monthly blog. I’ve learned so much from both of them. I can’t say enough great things about Mars, Kei and DGF. You really should check it out and see for yourself. You’ll be glad you did!

My brother and I have been part of the DGF family for 6 months and we love every second of being there. Mars and Kei are super trainers and push us past our limits every single day we train. They have a fantastic facility and they both have great enthusiasm for fitness. They are very motivating and knowledgeable in their field and are able to improve our skill and strength in our sport. We truly love training under them.

I have been training with Mars for a little over year. It has been wonderful. I feel more fit and stronger than ever. It makes putting on clothes a much happier experience! I have lost body fat and weight. Mars always has many different exercises to do which keeps the training fun and interesting. I know training can be expensive, but I'd rather pay for staying fit than having health issues, and Mars is worth it!

I'm going to say this upfront: Kei Hashimoto at Dynamic Grit Fitness is an upstanding guy and a phenomenal personal trainer. I can easily say that in the two years I trained with him, that I wouldn't be in as nearly as good shape as I am if it weren't for his guidance.He's somebody you will love and hate when working with him. Regardless of your athleticism, his sessions will humble you severely, and you will be feeling sore the next day – make no mistake. A big part of his training style is accountability: If you're coming to him expecting to be “worked out” and not put in any effort of your own, then you'd better find another trainer, because you'll be putting in the work inside and outside of the session. There's two chief reasons for this: the first is that you're going to be put to the test the following session and he can easily tell if you have or haven't been putting in the work, and the other reason is that you'll want to try to exceed his expectations, wipe that smug look off his face, leave him speechless (albeit in vain).For every exercise he throws at you, he has a number of ways to modify it to make it easier or more difficult depending on how well you're handling it (including a number of workarounds for preexisting injuries). Even more important than the exercise he teaches, is the proper form he instills. This helps to focus on contracting the intended muscles, preventing overcompensation with the unintended muscles, and overall prevents injury. Where I train now, bad form is prevalent with kids my age focused more on being able to outdo each other with heavier weight instead than performing the exercise right and getting the maximum work out of the target muscles.In my honest opinion, the real genius of his training style is the gradual shift in mindset you undergo as you train with him. Like I said before, at first you’re only putting in so much work outside of his sessions to just to survive the next session and maybe get one up on him, but then your motivations slowly change; you find yourself working so hard because at first, it’s become a habit, it’s just what you do. Then, it becomes more than just a habit; it becomes an integral part of your life. I’m not sure how to articulate it properly, but now, working out is more than just about getting a certain physique or being able to bench a certain weight, it’s my go to stress reliever, my favorite part of the day. Sure there might be days where I have to forgo working out for whatever reason, but I can say without a doubt, because of his influence, there is never a day that I’ve gone to the gym and come back regretting it.
