This review is an update to my experience during the pandemic. When gyms were shut down and virtual workouts were a thing, the entire Inspire team made every effort to stay positive and motivate clients despite the current situation. Peet and Trinh checked in on both my mental and physical well being which I think is above and beyond what is expected from gym owners. To them, you're not just a client, you're like a family member and friend.Fast forward, gyms are open, and we're allowed to workout in doors again!! Inspire has taken all precautionary measures to ensure you feel extremely safe when you're in their facility. Everything from temp checks, hand sanitizers, face masks/shields requirement, great ventilation, capacity limitations, and sanitizing all equipment after every use. Coming out of the pandemic I was concerned with being indoors, but with all the safety measures Inspire has implemented I couldn't be happier to be back. The Inspire team never disappoints!! The OG trainers are consistently AMAZING and the new additions to their team are WONDERFUL. Between the challenging programs, amazing trainers, and awesome clients, I don't plan on canceling my membership unless I'm forced to.

I've been working out at Inspire on and off for a few months, super consistently for the last 3 and it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made not only for my physical health but my emotional and mental health as well.Peet, Jinn, Ray, Maddie, Maj & Melissa are some of the most positive + supportive people who I have ever met. They're all always so happy to see members, welcoming you into the space with a smile and an infectious positive energy during workouts. Each of the trainers have their own unique style that makes the workout classes so different + fun. And workout programs change on a monthly basis which is perfect since you never get TOO comfortable where you are! Each month I feel challenged, supported and excited to start progressing even further. I recently started using their meal prep program and 1. The food is delicious 2. It's helped cut our food waste down significantly 3. It also helps save some money (no more ordering out during the week!)All logistical things aside, the community that the team at Inspire has built are also some of the greatest people I've met. The members who I work out with (shout out to the 6am class!) are all so kind and caring. I can confidently say that I love coming to Inspire and being part of the community.

To everyone at Inspire, I am so grateful for the time I spent in the South Bay. I am so lucky to be part of your network & community!!! When I started my fitness journey with you, I had no idea I would become so committed nor what I was capable of doing!! To all the trainers and my peers, I could not have done this without you! Thank you for allowing me to find my physical & mental strength (and always correcting my form)!!! I will cherish my time at Inspire forever! Pete & Jin, I’ll say this again - you have created a masterpiece! πŸ‘ŠπŸ½πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ‹πŸ½β€β™€β€πŸ™πŸΎ Thank you πŸ™‹πŸ½β€β™€β€ - Claudia

Working out for me is a chore. However, going to inspire and working out With Pete and the other trainers is a joy. I have been going to HIIT classes for the past several years and the people there have become like a family. I look forward to catching up with them and working out. The workouts are challenging, but not too difficult. What I like best is how the trainers are constantly working with me and the others to ensure that we are following the proper form. The gym has adapted well to COVID with outside workouts and a unique Pod System.

I stopped going to the gym for months and miraculously was motivated to get back in shape, thanks Peet. I may be skinny but extremely lazy as I already look fit. So, I decided to start taking the classes and i love it. I couldn't imagine not going to Inspire South Bay. It is such a calm and inspiring workout environment.

Peet is a great trainer. He focuses on your personal fitness goal instead of offering a one-plan-fits-all. I was trying to run a full marathon last year, so Peet was helping me with my lower body workout and training. He gave me plenty of useful tips on different exercises to strengthen my legs, and how to recover properly from my long runs. He showed my proper stretches and rolling out techniques. Even though I hurt my knee after a rigorous run, he was able to help me recover quickly. He minimized my injury by reminding me the importance of stretching and allowing my knee to properly healed. I don't think I would have recovered as well or continue to be able run if I didn't listen to his advice. It's not easy to find a trainer that truly cares about your goals.

I love working out and I'm always up for trying new HIIT classes/gyms. My friend invited me to take a class at this gym so I gave it a shot (even though I live all the way in West Hollywood). I was hoping the payoff would be worth the long drive (lol) ... and I'm happy to say, it was.I tried the Friday night class which primarily focused on the lower body and abs. It was challenging, unique, and fun. Peet the instructor was so supportive and positive. One thing I really like about this gym is there is no "time clock" on display. The instructors keep track with their own personal stop watches. I actually like this because it kept me from focusing on the amount of time left and forced me to focus more on the actual exercise. (I didn't realize I preferred this until now as most HIIT gyms have a large clock for you to view.)Since that first class, I have been back two more times. :) I took another Friday night class, and I have also tried their HIIT Sunday morning class. AWESOME!!! It kicked my butt - lol. That day they had cold eucalyptus infused hand towels to put on your face/neck after the class. They felt great after that class and smelled sooooo good. That was a very nice touch.Parking was not a problem. They have a lot of spaces behind the building. The gym is clean (very important to me) and organized. I noticed all the class "mates" took pride in the gym and helped with putting back all the equipment at the end of the class and sprayed and wiped down all the mats (LOVE THAT).The other thing I noticed is that even though I was new, Peet made me feel so warm and welcomed which I greatly appreciated. HIIT classes are challenging and sometimes can be a little intimidating especially when you are trying out a new class at a new gym, but I felt very comfortable.Because it's a bit far for me, I average one class a month. I wish I lived closer or there was another Inspire fitness closer to me. For now, I will just have to enjoy it as time/work allows. For all those that live closer to Inspire, enjoy it for me! lol :) Can't wait to go back!!

Inspire South Bay fitness is a great place to get personal training in a group setting. Energy is off the charts and the trainers are super informative and very technical with form and muscle activation. Overall an excellent gym to get a quick workout in to reach your goal!
