Local gym

We had concerns which we shared but received irrational and belligerent responses from Colton the trainer and Denise the manager that made returning impossible.

It's a small gym with friendly staff and people. All local which is nice too, no pressure or feelings of competition.

Colton is awesome! He never makes us feel bad about where we're starting, he just stays positive and encouraging. The gym is well equipped and clean, too.

I've been a member at EH for a few months now. This has been one of the best gyms I've ever been to. Its not big, but it's very clean and has pretty much everything I need. My work schedule can be a bit all over the place, so the 24 hour system has been a great help (even if it takes me a couple trys to get in the door sometimes). The training staff has also been a big help. They all seem really passionate about fitness and are willing to answer all my questions. Im really not sure what the other reviewer is talking about, but I've asked Colton for help on numerous occasions and he always drops what he's doing to give me a spot or show me new exercises. I've even asked him about specific exercises he's doing during his own workout and he always shows me the proper form and makes sure Im doing it right. Definitely recommended!

I have found my gym as well as an extended family. I joke about this gym being like the show Cheers. It's very family oriented and safe. I have made some great friends here. The members are very friendly and the Staff and management get an A+ rating they are always so helpful and generous with their time and education. I have trained with Colton, Carlie and Neal. They each have a different and motivating way of teaching. Honestly, if you are looking for a personal trainer you would be lucky to get the time with any of them. Management has done such a wonderful job with hiring. I always see the staff and management working together to keep the equipment clean and in working order.I usually just come in and lift weights and I might jump on a cardio machine here and there. E.H. fitness is a small gym. But I always can get on whatever equipment I need when I need it. The price for a membership is fantastic. They have a ton of extras also. A massage from Leslie is out of this world. She wants to heal and help you with whatever your needs are. I have not found anyone who can do the job that she does for the price.Ok. At this point I'm just bragging because I truly belong to the best gym ever. I would and have recommended this place to everyone I know. I'm here 6 days a week. My results have been amazing and the crazy thing is I can't wait to show up and see my friends tomorrow.Time to eat and sleep.

Building an environment that a community can honestly enjoy and accomplish their fitness and nutritional goals is a difficult challenge; not for East Highlands Fitness. The team running this gym has, without a doubt, created something special. They are, as their slogan describes, more than just a gym (much more if you ask me...)Management clearly has the drive and passion to make this community come together in one space. They are easily able to share their love for health and spread it through a wide variety ways. More importantly, they do this all realistically and for a very, very, very reasonable price. From the moment you walk in the door the atmosphere feel opens, flowing and energized. Greetings are filled with smiles and a welcoming hello and you even get to see a picture of everyone that works there right on the wall! Walking around you simply can't help but notice how clean and well-structured everything is - being a somewhat smaller gym it is important to have a nice flowing layout, and they have done just that. The bathrooms, equipment and building alike are all very nice and more than what you might expect for the size! The membership options range from basic to premium, month-to-month to paid-in-full, etc... and all the options are extremely well valued, especially the premium membership. Check out their website for more details in regards to that though. I do feel it necessary to also mention that when signing up it's zero pressure (unlike, say, those big-box gyms). They offer you what you honestly need and what they can suggest after getting to know you and not what they want you to buy. There are many classes and fun extras that the gym offers as well. All of which prove that they are honestly MUCH more than just a gym. Fitness on Demand, Spinning, Boot Camp, etc... you name it, they got it. I've attended all and all are fun, energetic and almost somehow still feel personalized just for you! Definitely something to take advantage of when/of you join.Beyond classes, there is also Massage Therapy, Personal Training and Nutrition coaching. The massage therapist is freaking magical, I simply can't get a massage from anyone else but their massage therapist (Leslie) now. Not and overstatement, she's honestly just that good. Plus its pretty cheap to get one. The trainers there truly practice what they preech, when they aren't working you'll see then working out. They're friendly, extremely knowledgeable, helpful and are not there for the paycheck.East Highlands Fitness is a wonderful, community and you-based gym and is an absolute diamond hiding in the rough. I am extremely impressed with what this small and friendly staff has been able to do with this space and I fully intend to be part of whatever awesome future it holds.
