Fight club? These are aerobics classes for hipsters and moms escaping from toddlers. Those of us who fight think your branding is unfortunate and misleading.

The workouts are intense! Classes vary in size depending on when you go so I’ve been to some with only 3 of us and others where there’s about 30 and it didn’t make a different in the workout intensity. How it’s structured with working with a partner, it won’t let you be lazy which is great. It says you’ll burn between 750-1,000 calories per workout which I didn’t believe until I realized I continue to burn 800-850 per session! I’ve worked with 3 trainers and they’ve all been awesome and have worked with me in improving my punching and kicking techniques. Just make sure you bring hand wraps to wear under the gloves (they also sell them for $10) or else you will bruise the heck out of your knuckles and bring water! The small breaks you get aren’t enough time to go to the water fountain. Highly recommend it!

Omni Fight Club is a great place to workout! It's about a 50 minute, high intensity workout that leaves you completely drenched and knowing that you got an effective full body workout. They alternate between kickboxing and endurance days. There are several stations that you rotate through in a guided workout. Some stations have a heavy kickboxing bag, others have ropes, rowing machines, weighted balls to name just a few, and the last station is a full on boxing ring where you get to do mitt work drills with the trainer and learn some real boxing skills. It's a blast of cardio and strength training all in one workout. Every day is a different exercise. The trainers are extremely motivating. They will push you and keep you safe at the same time. It's great for all fitness levels! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed! Also I highly recommend trying both a kickboxing day and an endurance day because they are different and both very effective! I am a member at the Kirkland location, Hawi is the best trainer I have ever worked with and I look forward to every workout!
