We have been going to the cave for YEARS. In recent months we have really missed coach Russ since he was an integral part of much of our prior experience. This year my daughter was thrilled to make the Xcel team and to compete for the first time this winter. However because of a single unfortunate incident of conflict, my daughter was kicked off the team. She is devastated and misses her “team family”. It’s too late in the season to join a team elsewhere so this means she won’t be able to compete this season and maybe at all period at this point given her age and the challenge of being able to start over elsewhere. My daughter is completely heartbroken about this and so am I knowing the pain she is going through. I don’t understand putting this outcome on a child who did nothing wrong. I offered to put any parameters in writing to allow her to continue for the season with a commitment to move facilities after the season but this request was denied. We also supported this business during the pandemic having arranged a pod with private lessons and never had any other prior issues before being cancelled.

This place is so fun! I have kids in both gymnastics and parkour and they just love it. I’ve also noticed their gross motor skills are really getting good.

Fantastic Coaches, I've been to 60+ CrossFit gyms, many in California but 30+ Internationally, I've seen lots of CF and their coaching is the best I've come across. In each their own way they - Check in with each member before the workout to tailor it to themselves (Injuries, soreness, etc) no "RX pressure," they watch and advise each person in the class, always friendly not just during class but before and after (Even if they are not coaching that day), mostly they genuinely care and I see that every time I come in. As a bonus they coach and offer their knowledge to those who want to do more. On top of it the warm ups aren't lazy, they actually warm you up, & they coincide with the workout/movement pattern for the day and I've seen some stuff that I've never done before. The adult gymnastic classes are included as well and the handful that I have done have been so fun, they made me feel like a kid again, but I also was quickly improving on my handstand walking and learning new gymnastic skills. They have Parkour as well, but I have not tried it yet, but it looks equally has fun. After 2 years I moved out of state but can't wait to drop into a class when I am back. Thanks!

The team at The Cave is awesome! My 10 year old daughter has been doing private lessons with Olivia and she is thriving. Olivia is challenging her and helping her to achieve her goals and improve overall. Our daughter loves to attend weekly. In fact, we recently added a 2nd day and are waitlisted for a 3rd day!

Strength and Conditioning classes are amazing for all ages and skill levels… there are kids, teens and adults classes at The Cave. The coaching is approachable and extremely helpful, the gym is positive and friendly, inclusive. If you are thinking about starting a new adventure, or if you are looking for a skilled gym that can give solid coaching, come try out The Cave. For your efforts you’ll join a community of positive people working hard and supporting each other, and coaches who genuinely care about their members. It’s a fun environment to concentrate fully on yourself for an hour, or for kids and teens to find a group of like-minded peers that are choosing strength and fitness and wellbeing.Hope to see you there!

We love The Cave! My son has been going here for years for the group classes and also private sessions with resident Ninja Warrior Kevin Bull. Aside from being a phenomenal athlete, Kevin is patient, kind, and skilled at teaching kids new tricks while also making sure they have fun. The Cave has done an awesome job of staying open despite wildfire smoke and the pandemic. They follow the protocol and everything is very clean. We are thrilled to have The Cave and Kevin in our 'hood!

The Cave brings tremendous joy to my two daughters lives. The Cave care about their gymnasts, takes their time to get to know them & makes recommendations on how to progress at an individual level. Coach Russell gets 5*****, he brings expertise knowledge, and laughter while still focusing on the strength & progress of gymnastics. You can tell he has a passion for what he does & he is very good at teaching the children the core elements of gymnastics in a safe & loving way. I can't recommend him enough!

Fantastic place! We started with gymnastics about 7 years ago and over the last several my kids have moved to parkour - every step has been a great experience! The coaches are incredible and teach more than gymnastics or parkour - they embody respect for self and others. Plus, the kids have a ton fun! And, all the staff at the Cave are very helpful, patient and super customer focused - couldn’t appreciate them more! Their Covid protocols have been in lock step with the county and then some. We are so lucky to have such an outstanding place in Marin!

Have been going here for several years for adult gymnastics and recommend it highly! Coaches Roger and Russ are both extremely knowledgeable and experienced at working with all skill levels, and the class is one of the few that really guides adults through skill development rather than just being an open gym for former competitive gymnasts. On top of that, the gym has a very positive atmosphere--everyone is encouraged to get better and challenge themselves, no one is made to feel bad about where they're starting from or pushed to do anything unsafe, coaches pay attention to every individual and how to help them. If you have always wanted to learn gymnastics, or want to relearn skills you had before, this is a great place to go.

We have been going to the Cave with our kids for 8 years now, starting with Coach Amanda when my oldest was 1.5 years old! In additional to running a stellar gymnastics program for kids, the coaches and staff at the Cave are incredibly friendly and kind. Coach Amanda has coached our daughter on and off for almost 8 years and we couldn't be happier with the role has she played for her as a gymnast and athlete. I really do believe that it is thanks to Coach Amanda that our daughter has been inspired to join the gymnastics team and is as passionate about the sport as she is. Coach Amanda inspires our daughter to work as hard as she can to reach her personal best, and is an incredible role model.Once on the team, we had the amazing opportunity to also meet Coach Emily, an equally stellar coach who provides our daughter with regular feedback, support, and knowledge of the sport itself. Coach Emily is an incredible cheerleader for the gymnasts, while also challenging them to achieve outside of their comfort zones in such an inspiring way. She also works individually with our daughter to ensure that she feels comfortable and confident before every competition. The Coach Emily/Coach Amanda power team can't be beat! We are so grateful to have their guidance!
