I really enjoy this gym! It's a great gym for anybody interested in CrossFit. The owners and coaches are very inviting and personable. The workouts are top-notch, including three different versions for all fitness levels. I've been a member of other CrossFit gyms, and dropped in to many others. Some gyms feel intimidating, some gyms feel real clicky, and some just feel dirty and run down. I can say Skyraider is none of these. The gym is extremely clean. Everyone is friendly and inviting. I really enjoy the workout options, just knowing that if I'm having an off day I have the option of doing a scaled down version of the workout. There is an outside area to do your workouts on the airstrip next to vintage military planes!! The view of Mt Rubidoux is amazing! I've been doing CrossFit since 2011 and checked out all the other gyms in the area prior to joining Skyraider, Skyraider checked all my boxes!

I’m a new trucker just started this month. Been CrossFiting for about two years. I only get one day a week if I’m lucky to actually hit a gym at the moment. Looked up this gym online. They advertised open unit 8pm. Called beforehand to check nobody answered. Haven’t been to a gym that answers there phone yet though. So get and Uber and arrive , around 630 the gym is in a gated airport. It looked closed so I called again and left a message. Walked around the side to the gym. It’s in an open Agra behind a gate so I gave a few hollers “helllo anybody home?” “ would really like to fitness” No answer gate is unlocked so I walk in. The manger is there not in the office so I know she herd me. Tells me the last class is at 630. It’s 640 at this point nobody is there but her. I tell her I’m willing to sign a waiver pay a drop in fee and I only need like 20 minutes to hit some cleans a bike and maybe some muscle ups. She tells me no and that I should go try crunch. So i have yo spend anthoer 15 bucks to Uber to crunch and now I’m too far away from my terminal yo walk back at night so I’ll be spending another 20 just to Uber back there. All around the wasted 30 bucks and a ton of time which I don’t have a lot of. Also important to note, I don’t look like a sketch dude. I’m clean cut well groomed in shape and have non threatening demeanor. I really felt like the manager just didn’t want to deal with me working out and wanted to get home. Overall just not stoked that the gym could have facilitated me and ended up wasting my time.

I love this gym. Great people. Great coaches. Great workouts. This is my first CrossFit gym and I’m now a lifelong member. Stop thinking about joining and just show up. We’ll be friendly, I promise. And no one cares if you don’t know the first thing about working out. The coaches will teach you. Get healthy. Get to the gym.

I did a drop-in last weekend and coach Gabriel and the rest of the regular crew could not have made me feel more welcome. Location is cool, especially being able to run on the flightline. One of the best drop-ins I've done and would recommend anyone who is in the area to check it out!
