Went here for my daughter's volleyball tournament. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch most of her games because of the very limited space for spectators.

The 2023 volleyball season was the worst club team my daughter has been on. NPJ portland showed zero care and effort to produce a decent coach for the girls. Parents emailed Nate all year long in trying to find more help as we felt like the coach was not teaching, correcting or engaged with any of the girls on the team. They last about 97% of their sets and the coach had no idea where to play the girls. She became distraught and started taking it out on the team. The director never did anything about the situation, so it left multiple parents having to withdraw from the club team as it began to be a hostile environment. I would highly recommend to find a different club with a director that cares for the girls and. It using it as a money scheme. Don’t waste your thousands of dollars on NPJ portland as it’s no better than recreational volleyball.

Traveled 70 +miles only to go home due to NO parking. Waist of time and gas!!!!But IF we were to get in, there is NO seating or standing room.Obviously this facility is NOT big enough to handle these tournaments.

CEVA VB tournament 01.29.23.... courts are VERY tight with sidelines only feet from the concrete walls and no room to serve at ends ... cramped kids playingvstyle and had a few dangerous moments of wall impacts. As with all these venues, spectator seating was limited, did have multiple breakout rooms for the kids to chi and eat between matches. Worst part was the parking, or lack there of, multiple people had their cars towed and quite frankly the signage is confusing and the venue knlyvhas 20% of the required parking. Toilets were crowded and lacking.

I understand that this complex is still a work in progress with improvements being made along the way, however the accommodations for players and spectators should be the #1 focus from the beginning. For players....not allowing them to have their own food and drink into the facility is rediculous. They are competing athletes and these are 8 to 10 hour days. You don't limit them to only the food you are selling in order to make more money, OR make them eat outside. The tournament in Dec was 35 degrees outside. This is the only complex we have been to that doesn't allow players to bring in food for players.Common player complaints were that the flooring is nice, however the soft tiles aren't too secure and move even when just the ball bounces. Another complaint was that there is little room out of bounds to save a ball because the spectators are so close. For the spectators, zero bleachers in the one gym (not sure about the other) and not nearly enough seats. Every single team on every court had multiple family members standing or sitting on the floor, and yet they won't allow you to bring in your own seats. If you can't supply enough seating, how do you not allow people to bring their own seats? They have crazy unnecessary rules that makes for a very unpleasant experience.

As a volleyball tournament venue it is ok for the players. Horrible for spectators. Not nearly enough parking. Told not to bring in own chairs, but only provided seating for about 1/3 of the people. The facilities were clean and well cared for. It just isn't a venue for spectators.

The NPJ Sports Complex is a really fun place to play your favorite sport. They host many different camps, open gyms, and tournaments. I went to one of the Adult Volleyball Open Plays and it was so much fun. I didn't know many people at this event, but everyone I met was very friendly, supportive, and competitive, which is the kind of sports environment I love to be in. They also have other rooms to have meetings, events, or parties, as well as concessions with many snack options.

Rented office space for 8 days to conduct off site meetings and trainings for our team members. The large boardroom was clean, comfortable and ready to go for us everyday! Ty the facilities manager ensures that all needs are met by giving world class service. We plan to rent the space again! Highly recommend.

This is legit the worst sports complex. I cannot believe this is brand new and they made it with such little amenities and no thought to any space other than for court. We have parents lining walls, squishing in corners, and there still isn’t enough room. Some are having to just go hangout in the halls and miss the games. It is a really sad missed opportunity for a good complex but clearly they wanted to cut corners and costs and not spend money on space for spectators**I will also add that the staff has implied that the parking lot is large and has overflow to accommodate players and teams. However, we had 2 teams cancel the tournament due to covid and we STILL had to park down at another business due to lack of parking, and we got there an 1.5 hours early, so I’m not sure about the amount of overflow and large parking they are referring to.BUT, I will say that knowing they opened during covid gives them major props, I can’t imagine getting anything opened, getting any contractors, workers, proper staff or supplies needed to open a large facility during covid so major props. I just hope they eventually figure out how to push out and get more spectator space.
