First I was hesitant to come here, staff is amazing and very helpful! especially if you don't know what you're doing.thx u you for making me feel welcome! Happy to know they even know you by name when you walk in. Thxs Planet Fitness fam! You guys "Rock"!

Cold showers in the men's locker room... for some time. We had no trouble canceling our (new) membership, however. We were treated well.

Layout is not conducive to what people use. Tons of cardio unoccupied while people wait for weights or machines. Equipment scattered everywhere or clustered in certain parts of the business. Cable ropes are behind the counter because people steal them. Bags and personal items everywhere on the floor making it dangerous to walk if you aren’t careful. All of these things make this the best planet fitness in the world.

I don’t know what has happened to this gym. I used to come here regularly before I moved for school. It was well kept and clean. The stations were filled and the staff was consistently cleaning. Now that I’ve come back it’s a mess. It’s seriously declined a lot of machines are out of order and the staff is not as friendly or helpful. I brought my mom with me who is new to the gym and also has some back issues. She was my guest to see if she like the water massage bed before I got her a black card membership like myself. I asked when we checked in if she would be able to try it after our workout and the staff member said yes. After the workout I go to sign up and the “manager” says that guests are not allowed to use them. I explained that she wanted to try it before signing up, n still nope. She rudely said we don’t allow that and turned away to help another guest. I asked when this rule changed or when new management took over because the general manager I remember was not this lady and was not rude to members. I’ve brought 3 people here in the past and she allowed to try the bed n all signed for the black card. I’m very highly disappointed in the service and new management.

Getting pretty messy. Bags and bottles everywhere. No one cleaning up. Avoiding this location when I can. Used to be well run. Not sure why it went down hill so fast.

Amazing Staff!I have been coming to Salinas Planet Fitness for some time now and I have to say my experience has been astounding. The staff's warmth and hospitality create a welcoming and homely atmosphere. They are also dedicated to providing excellent service to both current and potential clients. You can be confident that the workout areas are maintained in impeccable condition, with hourly cleaning routines in place to ensure their pristine state. Salinas Planet Fitness is a great gym that offers top-notch workout equipment. It's a welcoming and comfortable space suitable for both beginners and professional athletes to train at. I intend to maintain my membership and current routine of exercising here on a daily basis. I would like to express my gratitude to Ivan for informing me about the advantages of having a Planet Fitness Black Card Membership. Following the upgrade, I am thoroughly satisfied and have no intention of reverting to my previous membership level.

AVOID AVOID AVOID..Horrible Planet fitness location. Their customer service IS NOT just abysmal, but their staff is condescending, obnoxious, rude, and just plain incompetent. I wish I didn't have to say anything, but they treated me so horribly that I feel I MUST warn others.Normally, I have the BEST experiences at PF and leave each location I visit with glowing reviews. NOT THIS TIME. I'd rather light myself on fire than come back here.I travel all the time for my work in the film industry, so I've been to nearly every plant fitness location across the state of CA and have had AMAZING workouts and been treated with respect by gracious and friendly staff... but not here... this is the absolute worst.Maybe it's because they are the only location in the immediate 50 miles and can afford to treat their visitors with contemp and rudness. If that's the case, I beg someone to open up another location near them to put this one out of business.

I like this gym. They have friendly staff. They clean all the equipment daily. Planet fitness has really good clientele, everyone is respectful towards each other and courteous. It's a great gym, great environment. Weekends are calm and not so full. I love it.

PF Lodi let me freeze my black card account do to financial hardship. I was told I could still use the facility. And I’ve been able to, as well as the one in Stockton. But for some reason I was turned around here. Disappointing. :/
