We have been going here for four years and it has been great! The coaches are very engaged and keep the girls active the whole time. They do multiple skills and have multiple rotations through the skills. We are in the gymnastics portion and have found it be a great fit.

We visited the gym yesterday and were not impressed by what we saw. I guess this guy can run his gym however he wants, but both my wife and I came away with a very negative vibe towards women. Very cringey! We will absolutely find another gym that we won't need to worry about leaving our daughter with the staff.

We have been on and off with Alamo for some time now and solely picked this place due to convenience. I have twins, one in boys class and one girls class and although my son had a good coach, my daughter did not. She was very unengaged and never helped spot or try different things to keep it interesting. She would have her phone with her during class and sometimes even had a Starbucks drink. We definitely were not getting our moneys worth at Alamo and I didn’t make the effort to get my kids to class every week to feel like it was just a babysitter rather than a coach teaching new skills. We have since moved gyms and wow, what a difference it is. It is night and day difference and 100% better. Alamo needs lots of improvement but hiring better coaches would be a great first step!

I am disappointed in this place. My daughter was enrolled for summer camp this week. She has special needs and they told us that she will be fine there. She had no episodes, no aggressive behaviors while she was there for the 3 days. Alamo decided to kick her out because of her anxiety. She brought up she was scared because of what happened to the kids during the shooting at Rob elementary school. They called my dad to come get her and they said we couldn’t have her here anymore because of her anxiety. I called 7 times and left 3 voicemails asking for information on why they decided to kick her out. It’s disappointing to hear the decision they made and makes me wonder if it was due to an unconscious bias opinion of her. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone, the lack of attention and training on special needs lacks here. I would recommend the owner invest in special needs training for the coaches.

Brought my daughter here 4 a trial class and she really enjoyed it. The instructor was very professional. He is very good at what he does and you can tell is very experienced in working with children based off of his level of patience and his way of instructing. the staff was very professional and good with communication as well. We felt right at home and my daughter had a great time

My 31/2 old granddaughter wouldn’t keep her mask on, which I am all for following rules. But when the instructor brought her out to let me know she was not allowed n the class unless she kept the mask on, she was extremely rude to me in front of the other paternts. Not sympathetic and uncaring. Didn’t seem at all happy about teaching the girls.

My 5 year all does not feel comfortable with the instructors. The instructors on 6:00pm class on Thursdays are not welcoming at all. They never approached my child. We were on the side watching. My kid did not want to go coz she’s shy and intimidated. If only the instructor approached and even say hello to my child; it would made a big difference. We were there and the instructor never made an eye contact with us. I was expecting and hoping that if you’re working with the kids, you have to be compassionate and understanding, be accommodating- should be part of their job. I’m totally disappointed with the instructors. How can they just totally ignored my child presence?!

If you have not registered don't bother, the initial visit was great, then my daughter missed the session, I called and was told they were busy and call back, no one answered. Then I went a head and registered my baby on line for another day. When my daughter went to class for 30 minutes no one was there to sell her leotard, then when someone did, they said she can not go to class and needs to go home, there is no make up day. I tried calling for 2 hours, the voice mail kept on saying they are open to 7 but no one is ther to answer customers, no manager to solve issues. BAD BUSINESS

Poor communication!!! Not happy we were charged for childcare after I canceled making the responsible decision not to take my child with fever and flu! I finally left a message on the machine after no one would answer the phone making me think they weren’t open yet. I did not think to first check their policy on their website, as I would be told later, I was busy getting my kid meds and the other off to daycare to give them more time to open and answer the phone. No one contacted me in return that day after I did leave a message. It wasn’t until the second day I called again to cancel and yet again, no one answered the phone! I told my husband to go by to check in after dropping off our other child at daycare. He was told I did not call early enough to cancel, by 10 minutes, according to their policy located online! Otherwise we could have been refunded 50%. 😡 Keep our money Alamo Gymnastics, your welcome that we didn’t bring you the flu!
