I'm not sure what to make of this place. I initially wanted to do the 10 lbs in 30 days weight loss challenge. In a nutshell you pay $397 upfront and if you lose the entire 10 lbs (not 9.9 lbs), you get your money refunded. However, you have to jump through some hoops (you have to take pictures a post them on your Instagram or Facebook for their promotion, you have to sign a waiver giving them pretty much exclusive rights to use your image whenever and however they want for their promotion, you must follow their strict diet plan, and you must attend at least 5 sessions per week). And be prepared because during your signup orientation, they will try and sell you VERY pricey supplements. (The workouts were high intensity and you will sweat. Most of the workouts are geared around calisthenics- with a small amount of weights). I tried it out for a few days and decided it wasn't for me. It's mostly because of the requirements to post pictures and reviews and have my image used anytime and anywhere. Good thing was I was issued a refund with no issues or problems at all (they have a grace period (I think it's either 3 or 5 days) after you join in which you can cancel the contract with no questions asked). In response to the Owners response:My apologies for mistating 10 in 30 days, your correct it was 20 lbs in 6 weeks. However it is stated that members are required to CHANGE their profile picture (on Facebook or Instagram) to one designated for the challenge. Members are also required to to do 20 Instagram "check ins" and 10 YELP reviews, also you have to "tag" The Camps Director/Management on Instagram. And I did have my picture taken and was told my photo can be used to promote The Camp in whatever way The Camp decides to use it as a promotion. My whole point was that in order to receive a refund after successfully completing the challange (that's even if you are successful), you must jump through social media hoops along the way or you will not receive the refund. And I suppose if a person is not opposed to all the social media requirements, then more power to that individual. My deposit was $297 (because of some type of promotion), the regular is $497 deposit as stated on my agreement.
