Fantastic customer service, probably one of the nicest gyms I've ever been to in that regard.Special shoutout to Hassan who explained all the membership details to me and gave a really good tour!Decent amount of people, I saw some reviews saying the machines were always out, but they were all in working condition when I went. Clean and well ventilated too.

Never a weight in the correct spot. Gym is filled at all hours. Every single cable that has interchangeable grips is broken, every single one, and has been that way for a year. There are 2 varieties of grip attachments there which force everyone to literally bring their own. AC is never on. It is EXTREMELY hot in the gym to the point where I can’t breathe while training legs. The biggest reason for 1 star, open from 8-8 on weekends? Has to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard of in my life.

You need to go on a scavenger hunt to find weights.Enough people behave without any respect to make it a rough time for everyone else. Things like hoarding 3 pairs of dumbbells, not putting them back. Nobody wipes down equipment. Also, it's almost always too crowded. There is only 1 actual squat rack. Equipment is pretty limited. Only 1 foam roll I have seen outside of the PT area. No kettlebells. Also their sales are pretty relentless. Even after buying a membership I got 3 to 4 calls a week for a month trying to sell me personal training. The sauna is nice though.

What happened to this gym? Used to be clean and nice. All the equipment is broken and weights are missing. There’s like 10 treadmills and elliptical that are always out of service and they never get serviced. The gym also is very dirty now comparable to a gross 24 hour fitness. They need some serious attention put back into fixing this gym that’s become a mess.

Absolutely horrible customer service. The gym is very mid. Kinda gross, crowded, overall not fun.If you every attempt to cancel your membership, good luck. They constantly tell you the "manager is busy, call back in an hour". Then, after calling 2-3 times a week for 2 weeks, I get a hold of the manager by asking the employee to keep me on hold for 25 minutes until the manager is free. The manager (Alex) then tries to tell me he can't do cancellations over the phone. After I express discontent, he then says he can make a "special exception".Cherry on top: I thank him, and he says I can call them back if my card gets charged or anything. Then he mutters "or maybe not" and hangs up on me.Stay away at almost all costs

Always overcrowded. Good luck using the cables because half of them are broken with absolutely no attachments to be found anyways. No one ever wipes anything down because there’s nothing to clean with. Lots and lots of people hogging equipment without working out, so good luck finding open ones. There’s a severe lack of dumbbells so you won’t find the weight you need. This is one of the worst gyms I’ve been to, and that’s saying something. Just wish there were more options in the area.

Okay gym - I signed up with Active And Fit Direct through my company’s benefits so I don’t have to deal with their contracts ($28/mo for multiple gym access), which in my opinion is the only way I would sign up for this gym given the horror stories of reviews here. The reason why this gym is so crowded is because 1) the elderly demographic who use Silver Sneakers, a free program to incentivize 65+ to go workout 2) the suburban makeup of adjacent Parkside, Sunset, etc neighborhoods which is primarily single family homes with lots of high school aged kids 3) one of the few gyms in SF with free parking that doesn’t have to be validated. This location is ideal, but the reviews are definitely real about the crowds. Reason #1 is actually the main reason why this place is actually so crowded in my honest opinion.Women’s locker room is alright, it’s somewhat clean and somewhat actively busy. Sauna is definitely busy. I was hoping to use the pool as a lap swimmer, but definitely looks like no one is using it for what it’s intended for. It’s just alright. The only plus side is parking and a Whole Foods and a target nearby with plenty of Volta chargers.

Joined this gym during the beginning of the pandemic, it used to be clean with nice machines. Now all the cardio machines are broken, falling apart and they don’t ever fix them. The buttons don’t even work or they are completely broken off. A lot of the treadmills have signs on them scheduled for maintenance but they never get fixed and when they do they just break again shortly after. They need more durable machines that don’t break or at least replace the parts to make the machines work like they should. Also the gym gets very crowded these days and can wait forever just to use the treadmill.

I had the opportunity to interact with Dre, the then-manager of the only CitySports Club in San Francisco. His hostile and contentious attitude left me and my friends feeling unwelcome. I’m ecstatic that he displayed such unacceptable behavior, since as a result, we made the decision to seek a more positive and welcoming environment elsewhere, which we found with 24 Hour Fitness down the street. I highly recommend seeking assistance from another representative if you encounter Dre, as his behavior failed to meet the the basic expected standards of professionalism and customer service.
