was sold on this gym given how big it is ... however it has been extremely packed recently and long lines for the squat rack

I find it Extremely odd that a manager here said that the VP was a woman, when it's a male. When I brought that up to that manager who finally let me dance here only b/c the VP was involved, they just didn't want to get involved and verbatim said to take it up w/ them. I also don't like buying personal training sessions in bulk and I was lied to at Transbay, about not being able to buy individual sessions. I found out later from a trainer I tried out at Embarcadero, that I could do that. Lying to my face in bad faith is not only disrespectful, but a breach in my trust. It looks like they also colluded w/ Yelp to bury my review on there—if you compare their other branches’ Yelp pages, there’s Way more reviews. What are you trying to hide, Transbay? That your rep of having d-bag energy is true? I’m not the only one who’s experienced rude behavior from the VP, GM, Assistant Manager, and personal trainers—I look forward to the wars to come. The Assistant Manager filmed me when she thought I wasn’t looking, to try to “document” my ballroom heels “scratching” the floors and it never did—they posed previous marks that were already there on my shoes. Recording one without their consent is illegal in the state of California.

The gym is new and has nice new equipment. Some of the members are stuck up and the vibe can at times be toxic compared to other Fit Sf locations.

Well I’m not from San Francisco. I was only in town for a conference and needed to do some lifting workouts while I was here. This place seems like the heaven of gyms. Every thing is beautiful and functional and the barbell area is nicer than anything I’ve ever seen. I cannot imagine a movement that you could not do at this place. The locker rooms have fresh towels, spotless floors and heated toilet seats. ;)The gentleman at the front desk was kind and there was no waiting for anything on a weekend morning.I’m sure the membership is not cheap, but one could understand why.

Been going here consistently for 7 months. I’m very impressed with how clean this gym is and how many different pieces of equipment they have. I use barbell racks frequently so I love that they have 20 of them. Almost always one available even at rush hour. Staff is friendly and trainers are very seasoned with a variety of programming.

By far the best gym experience I've had in SF! Love the many Olympic weight stations and turf area as well as the numerous cardio machines and stretching/massage options. Locker rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you'd need. Ken and company have done an amazing job with this location!

Best Fitness SF in the city! Big, clean, customers are not obnoxious like in Soma… I specially like the 2 treadmills with touch controls.
