LA Fitness

I honestly hate writing bad reviews but this is the 3rd time I’ve come to the gym at 6 Am and members are waiting in the parking lot because someone didn’t open the gym. I live in Acworth and come to this la fitness 3 days a week because I work right down the street. This LA fitness needs a remodel pretty badly. Or even just a good cleaning/better upkeep and definitely better staffing, or maybe pay your employees something worth getting out of bed in the morning. At this LA Fitness The same few machines are often broken. Shower tiles are broken and missing, some of the shower curtains also smell like urine and the Air conditioning seems to always be broken.

The front desk staff stared at me, and the machines were old and broken. It was dirty, so I even put it on my hands.

Love this gym, sales staff super friendly, made me feel at home. Beautifully set up, clean, simple navigating around, was popping around 11 not overcrowded on a sunday, good to see range of people age wise i may not see outside the gym 🤣❤️ working from home …

Well folks its another summer at La Fitness without AC. The only difference this year is that they didn't even bring in fans.I have to say that the no AC situation pairs nicely with the old carpet that hasn't been replaced in over 15 years. You will soon accept that the odor permeating through the gym is just what you needed for your workout.Oh and no worry. You still get to enjoy the broken equipment. I especially love leg day. Why? Because I love walking up to the leg extension machine and reading the, "broken," sign on it. I think its been six months since it has worked.The treadmills are fun too. I like to play this game where I get on one only to find out that it doesn't work. I then get on another one that also doesn't work. By the time I find a working treadmill I have burned 100 calories!If you can't stand paper towels, this is the gym for you! Rarely will you find a dispenser that is stocked with paper towel. The same goes for the sanitizing dispensers. Rarely stocked. You might get lucky and find a working faucet. Some are broken and some have been deactivated since 2020. The plus is that it will help you build up a nice resistance to all the bacteria in the gym.Enjoy your workout!

Good value. Has everything you need, plus basketball court and juice bar. Not too crowded. I would like to give a shout out to DeQuez and Lenworth. These guys are why I chose this gym. They've really provided great customer service and both just have great energy about them. Also, the lady working the juice bar is very good at making post workout drinks and is a lovely person.

Unfortunately this LA Fitness is pretty rough. The staff is nice and it’s usually clean in the gym area, but the bottom of the pool and whirlpool look extremely questionable. The cardio equipment there’s a good chance a chunk of them are down when you go. (I found an open treadmill then realized the incline didn’t work as I type this.) The AC currently isn’t working, not the biggest deal breaker for me. The cardio equipment that are working look rough and either have broken cup holders, handles, don’t move smooth, or tv doesn’t work. I know gyms took a big hit three years ago but this place desperately needs some money put in it.

Oversized locker rooms, compared to most LA fitnesses. The workout floor is spacious, the facility was clean and the crowd is diverse.

The people at the front were very nice, helpful, and friendly.They hooked me up with a good plan.One downside, machines are a bit outdated.Still does the job though.I'd come back, not for the great machinery, but for the good service I'm receiving.Also, it's spacious, with a lot of machines, and zero time waiting even at rush hour.

The equipment is old and does not have any maintenance. During summer AC does not work. I only go there sometimes because unfortunately it is the closest one to my house.

Never crowded. Equipment always serviceable. Don't have to wait to do anything here. More equipment here than most LA Fitness centers
