Phoenix Gymnastics in Sandy Springs, Georgia, is an inviting gymnastics club that caters to adults and kids alike. The facility is well-maintained, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff that creates a supportive environment for all skill levels.

While the instructors excel in managing personalities and providing a fun experience, some parents felt the teaching methods could be more hands-on, especially for younger children. The gym operates Monday to Thursday from 10 AM to 4 PM, offering a range of classes but lacking weekend and evening options.

Pros:

  • Well-maintained facility
  • Friendly and knowledgeable staff
  • Catering to both adults and children
  • Supportive environment for all skill levels
  • Good balance of structured and fun activities
  • Excellent for birthday parties and events
  • Professional and enthusiastic coaches
  • Great place for family and community activities

Cons:

  • Teaching methods not hands-on enough for younger kids
  • No weekend or evening classes
  • Inconsistency in customer experience due to mixed-use facility

I grew up played 18 seasons of soccer 9 in door nine outdoor, and boy has that place changed I'm 47! We actually used to have a BMX track and motorcycle track behind the building years ago!

We come to the turf alot to run our sessions, and it can be a bit tricky. Various youth soccer training is run out of here during some week nights and there are alot of adult pick-up games with big crowds making field space a valuable commodity if you're trying to find a place to just kick around. Weekday evenings past 4 are usually when things get busy. Weekends are similar except there may be youth soccer games in the mornings until about 5.Best times to come if you're looking for a spot to train are mornings and early afternoons on the weekdays and mornings in the weekend during the months of Nov. - Feb.As for the field itself: it is old and in need of maintenance. There's a particularly bad spot at the penalty marker on the side closest to the tennis courts. The seams are showing too which can make the surface difficult to play on.Best thing about the turf is the fact it isn't walled off like other facilities. Great place for a casual day in the park with some great views!

Great park with two playgrounds and sports facilities. They host lots of community events as well. We went for an Easter Egg hunt and the kids had a blast.

I play here on Wednesday nights for a co-ed soccer league and the place is great! Very cool environment to meet new people and catch up with old friends. And the league is very well organized!

I liked this place..we booked their community center for our kids birthday party. It seems very small from outside.but inside it is spacious for a party of 35-40people..they have a pantry area, rest mm rooms.clean and tidy place. They will provide seating also..We planned out kids both daughter's and son's birthdayparty at very last moment and our apartment is not enough for 35-40 people.we tried many places.atlast we got slot in this community center and it went well..all of our guests were enjoyed.more over our little girl and boy were very happy..and thanks for the city recreation center staffs. They were very helpful..

Fun park, open space. Only problem is that it's pretty popular and there isn't always enough space. It's a great place to host sporting events, and a lot of rec teams in the Atlanta area play there.
