It’s a very nice family pool. It’s on the older side. Good kid playing area. Slides for adults and toddlers. Small lazy river. Fun place. They have swimsuit wringer. Changing room with lockers, showers.

The lifeguard staff is very rude. It was the first time I've taken my daughter to a rec center to swim so I was a little nervous letting her go down the slide and the life guard staff made her feel so bad they followed us around warning us about things every move we made. There was no respect given I felt targeted. The head lifeguard was the worst. Safe to say I will not be going back.

I will never come back to this pool. The staff is super rude to anyone with more than 1 kid. They watch the parents more than the kids in the water. My kids remained in the kid area, with a life jacket the entire time. I also had other family members watching (over the age of 14). I stepped out to help my newborn in a stroller that was crying and staff completely freaked out at me telling me I would be kicked out if I didn’t remain in the water. Keep in mind I had my husband, as well as the my children’s grandmother in the water. My 5 year old (with a life jacket) started to wonder off and I sent a young adult in our party to go get him and the staff grabbed my child before and would not give my kid to the person I sent to go bring her back to me. It wasn’t until I had to go over then and they wouldn’t even give my kid back to me. This is harassment right here. The entire time I was here tonight I was being yelled at by the staff. Once I told them I wasn’t going to ever come back they replied with a smirk saying “good”. This place is absolutely embarrassing to the salt lake county. If I could give it zero stars I would

Never again, if you want to enjoy a day at the pool this is not the place. The lifeguards whistle at you for every little thing. One tired to yell at my son(5) because he didn't move away from the slide immediately after sliding down. She was whistling at him going down and as soon as he hit the bottom she then proceeded to jump in the water almost started yelling at him when she saw me I told her she needed to calm down she kept watching us whistle if my son was a foot away from me, if he touched the wall, even radioed other lifeguards to tell us things. Maybe don't hire such emotional unstable power hunger children who like to bully 5 year Old.

The pool is constantly closed. The worst part is, I had a one year membership, and they refused to let me cancel. That’s ridiculous, the whole reason I got the membership is for the pool, but they completely change the hours and they’re closed half the time, so what was the point? Everything other than the pool seems great, but I signed up my entire family so we could swim

I really like coming here an use the exercise room a lot. The problem I have with it is most the equipment doesn’t get cleaned. The bottoms of them are dirty with dust, dirt and drops of probably sweat. It’s not pleasant to be using the machine and look down and see all that.Love the staff and facility though

My feedback is only about the pool so keep the 1 star rating in mind with that. The facilities are great, but just so poorly managed. Don't look at the website, it doesn't have anything resembling the actual open hours for lane swimming or open plunge. They have a "schedule" that shows when you can lane swim it is taped to the door, literally. Then when you do arrive there is a 1 in 2 chance that the chlorine levels are bad, there is contamination, and you can't swim so you resort to calling the front desk to just to verify the schedule that you took a picture of is actually on for that day. They closed the pool entirely for 2 months and so I couldn't swim, then they couldn't keep lifeguards employed and the pool was closed for more than half the day because of that. If you want to swim with a kid, they also restrict when kids are allowed to be there, but only kids not in a swim class. Honestly I got kicked out of my lane with 5 minutes left in my 30 minutes of workout because a swim class started at 10:45. If you want to actually swim Holladay Lions club is NOT the place. I will not be coming back.
