The good: My daughter loves her teacher Becca and loves coming every week. Once your kid is enrolled, they will have a blast. The bad: Lack of communication and a receptionist make it very hard to enroll your kids. You have to visit in person because no one is answering the phones and when you do visit, you are left standing awkwardly trying to get someone's attention. The unfortunate: There was a fire 6/25/2022 and so the place is closed down. My husband was told if I had signed up for emails, I should be getting an update soon. I have never received an email from them in the past so I'm not sure I'm signed up for their emails. I'll be checking their website and social media accounts where I hope they will also be posting updates.

Update: I wanted to give them another chance. I called and left a voicemail. Next day I was called back from a parent volunteer who apologized and said she is only there Tues & Thurs. Seems strange not to have reception, but I understand small business can be tough. She signed me up for a 5:30 class to take place today. When I showed up, no employee in sight to help. I started asking around and another parent was waiting for a 5:30 class that apparently did not exist. Several kids had been booked trials for classes that were already full so coaches were overwhelmed. We were told the owner would be coming soon and we could talk with him. He never came. Coaches were embarrassed and apologetic. Parents were frustrated. Kids were upset. Not the coaches fault. I can't imagine working at a place like that if this continues or is normal. Reception is a must. I don't fault the parent volunteer...this seems like a mangement/communication problem.Previous: This review is only in regards to the communication as we never were able to try their facility. I bought a groupon and left it until the last couple days to redeem. I called at least 4 times over 2 days in order to get scheduled. No one answered and no one returned my voicemail. Even though my groupon expired, I tried Pinnacles the next week (under the assumption they would still honor the groupon due to my previous week's voicemail). Again, same experience. No answer. Left a 2nd voicemail. It was 3 weeks after my original voicemail when they returned my call. I did not answer and they left a message to call and get scheduled, not even addressing how delayed they were in calling back. However, by this point I had already contacted groupon and received a refund. I was surprised by this experience based on the high reviews. It should also be noted that I always called during their listed office hours. When I called during earlier hours I figured I should call back in the evening hours, but changing the time did not result in reaching a staff member.

What an amazing place and amazing owner! At first I was not terribly impressed seemed poorly lit, they have lots of equipment but looked a little outdated. But then I spoke with the owner and I quickly realized how amazing this place is. There is more heart and soul in this place than I have ever seen. Absolutely phenomenal I'm not the type of person that normally writes reviews but even a 5 star is not enough. Results are amazing, the time and care is exceptional, and you won't find the compassion in any other gym.

They treat my son incredibly well. He has a 1.5 hour class every Weds and loves it every time. Very respectful and lots of options for the kids.

This is a great place for boys and girls very knowledgeable staff , programs has been excellent with our kidsI’ve been to many other gyms in Salt Lake County, and this is the best place for us .It may not have the newest ,latest, greatest facility but it’s a clean place it’s a safe place and Responsive to feedback.the front desk is very helpful, friendly and Willing to address questions . (which was refreshing, as many gyms we’ve been in gave us the cold shoulder and poor service )It’s smaller than some gyms but adequate in size. our kids get taken care of better here because they’re smaller program and your kid is not just another number . .... and No doubt these guys can coach every level of gymnastics to highest point, you can see it in some of the kids they train, very impressive.

This is the best gymnastics center in the area (especially for our son) he had taken 4 years of lessons at another gymnastics center. Our son learned more in the first six months at Pinnacles than he did in four years. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We've been there for a few years, they are awesome! The coaches my kids have are so great. They really help them understand what they are doing. They often demonstrate or have a higher level gymnast demonstrate skills so that the kids understand the end goal. They are a competitive team, but place the emphasis on enjoying the competition over winning. We've been so happy here. Thank you Pinnacles!

We bought the Groupon and took our daughter there only one time. I honestly hate giving bad reviews, but we were not impressed at all!! She was in a class with 4 year olds and her teacher seemed to do a decent job, but as we sat there watching other classes we got a totally different opinion. One teacher who only had two kids in her class sat down on some mat thing and never helped the two girls do even one cart wheel. You could clearly see that botht the girls were struggling with gymnastics and were offered no help or direction. The teacher seemed completely uninterested and semi annoyed with the fact that she was there. Another class that was being taught just over the wall from us had a teenage boy teaching. I don't think he ever stopped screaming at the kids or putting them down. It broke my heart to hear the way he was talking to those boys. Last but not least, my husband who is an electrian noticed open electrical boxes throughout the facility with exposed wiring, most likely a major code violation. When the class was over we were done and will never go back.

We currently have our three year old boy taking classes here. Tried it on a Groupon, and he (and we) liked it enough to keep going. He is kinda clutzy and I feel like this class is helping him become more coordinated. His coach is patient and she always makes sure each kid is involved. I'd give it five stars if the building was in better shape and the equipment a little newer, but it does the job. Overall this is a great place.
