I was referred to Trainer Zone Fitness by a friend, who had specifically worked with Slade. I started training with Slade to become more fit to play rugby. Slade has personal experience in this sport and also taught group lessons which supplemented my workout routine. A few months later I decided I wanted to test to become a full time firefighter. I approached Slade with what would be required to pass the physical portion of this journey and without hesitation he got to work. Slade was incredible, he created courses and found substitute exercises to help me prepare for specific events I would need to complete.Other than helping me prepare physically, he also helped me prepare mentally. There were days I was pushed to my limits, but he knew that would be required of me. Slade is very professional and personable. He also is very perceptive and not only cares about physical wellness, but emotional wellness too. He knew the days he could push me and knew when I wouldn’t respond well.Slade taught me so much. He taught me how to know my muscles were activating, he helped me with my balance and he helped me to learn to listen to my body. He helped me learn correct form and through his teaching he taught me different routines I could apply outside of training. He helped me with nutrition and helped me find tools to aid in my journey.To sum it up - you couldn’t ask for a better trainer than Slade.Tom - the owner is also pretty fantastic and is incredible to work with as well! Trainer Zone is definitely the place you want!

I first came to TZF to train with Slade back in 2017, and since working with him, it's as if I have a brand new lease on life. Slade has been in my corner every step of the way, dedicated, caring, and passionate about what he does, he is more than just a "rep counter" He takes his profession, and his clients seriously, and gives it his all. He is truly about working with people on a personal level, and helping them see and reach their true potential.He knows when to push, when to pull, he is full of empathy and truly "gets it" he takes the time to find out what each of his clients need on an individual basis, and will dedicate himself fully to helping them reach goal after goal, and when said goals are met, he will rejoice in them with you, and you can tell that his joy is real and genuine. He is about transforming lives.Which is exactly what has happened with me, and words cannot express how grateful I am to have had Slade as a trainer. I have looked forward to every single training session, even during stressful moments where I had struggles in my personal life, I knew that the moment I stepped through those gym doors, I was in an environment of empowerment and support, and by the time my session was over, I felt stronger, capable, more ready to face all that life had to throw at me.I've lost 50lbs during the time I've been training here, I've accomplished more than I ever believed possible. Once upon a time I needed a cane just to walk... Now I've taken up dance and kickboxing, started going hiking, completed a fitness challenge... and the results go so far beyond the scale, it's impacted every area of my life, not only physically, but mentally as well, with successes inside and outside the gym as well, as I built up the confidence to even return to school. As mentioned, he's more than a rep counter, he is truly about personal transformation... And I cannot think of a better person to have in your corner.

My dads gym is one of the best gyms around and he will make sure you get a good work out and become part of the gym family. You will not find this much and it isn't like fitness planet that gives you pizza ever week but you will be given work outs that will help what you want and using Usana is promoted as well. Now I am saying this as my own words.
