I’m a 27 year old runner and have had back problems since high school. I’ve been to physical therapy, chiropractors, and tried several other things to combat my pain and posture issues. In just 4 months at Solcore, my posture has improved and my back feels stronger than ever. Tiffany and Ekemba are fantastic! I’m moving out of state but Ekemba even went out of his way to help create a workout plan so I can continue to move forward in my fitness goals. I would highly recommend Solcore Fitness!

The best fitness program in town and the best trainer, Ekemba Sooh! I highly recommend not just to try it, but stay with it for many month and experience for yourself how you body will gradually move out of the "frozen" mode into being "alive and kicking". The program demands consistency, but I was able to take breaks for travel and come back to where I was without falling behind. Ekemba makes hard workouts feel purposeful and joyful.

Having had lower spinal and issues in each hip, I tried physical therapyfor a 3-month period to alleviate the pain. It didn’t help. It wastaking me 5 minutes just to get up and several minutes to shake offstiffness if I was sitting for more than a few minutes. I know manypeople with this degree of pain who have opted for surgery and live withlimitations, even arthritis, and I didn’t want to go there.Being in obvious pain, friends took notice and offered suggestions basedon programs they were involved in. Then somebody suggested I try Eldoastretching, opening up space in the body to allow for greater movement. This made some sense and seemed the least risky for further injury. After three months at week by week to the degree that I can rise out ofbed immediately with careful posture movements. Believe me, I wouldn’tbe writing this if I wasn’t. From the beginning I never expectedmiracles but signs from trust put in the process would be good enough. To another point, I had not exercised in a group situation since highschool or college. In a fitness club, and I belonged to several, a‘trainer’ set out a routine every month or so, after which my body wouldreach a comfort zone and boredom would set in. In this format, there arenew challenges every minute that “attack” each body focus of aparticular class in a different way. Ekemba’s technical oversight isgreat and the sights and sounds of people in the class trying tomaintain posture through it all is encouraging and motivational at leastfor me. And they > happen to be nice people.I know when I walk into the gym some of the challenges put forth aregoing to be painful, especially areas that I am not used to using. But Ialso understand that it is the byproduct, not the purpose of theprogram. I’m hopeful that I will continue to feel improvements and willcontinue to learn more and more of the stretches, properly, on my own.At this moment, this morning, I am pain-free. It may not last the day oreven an hour, but this is something I could not say 3 months ago.

I joined Solcore Fitness with a desire to learn about proper techniques for strength and fitness training. I was very impressed with the amount of guidance, advice, and training that I received. My time spent working with Ekemba and everyone at Solcore Fitness was very beneficial and I have never felt healthier.

When I started with Ekemba at SolCore a year and a half ago I was suffering from chronic back pain, constant migraines, and numbness and weakness in my arms and legs. I had tried chiropractics and physical therapy with no improvement. The spine specialist told me that spinal injections were going to be my only pain relief. So I kept searching and was blessed to find SolCore. Thanks to Ekemba and SolCore (and those eldoas!) the numbness and weakness is gone, the chronic pain is under control and I'm back to doing the things I love. Thank you Ekemba and SolCore!

I have always been an active person but after suffering several years of illness and injury, my body needed help. Last year I decided it was time to look for a program that could help me regain some of the function I had lost. I'm very grateful I found SolCore! Ekemba is an amazing trainer, he pays attention and really motivates me to do my best. I feel better after every session, and over the last year at SolCore I've seen results!

Coming up to a full year of completing group training and, cliche but true, the program has changed my life. No more back problems, feeling stronger, losing weight, toning up...great sessions and I look forward to them each time--even when some become difficult to master. Ekemba and Jo are terrific...couldn't ask for better trainers!

Hi,My name is Denise Johnson and have just completed a year of training withSolCore Fitness.I have spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spinal canal) which impedesnerve pathways resulting in pain and discomfort. ThroughElLDOA’s and strength training I have learned how to manage my discomfortquite successfully. In addition I have learned how to increasestrength and flexibility thru proper alignment, focus on technique andadhering to my homework. I would highly encourage any person who haschronic pain to look into this remarkable program and get startedtowards better health and wellness.Denise Johnson

I am a professional athlete and I needed a cross training program that I could do on the road while traveling to compete. I also needed an exercise program that was low impact because I have some injuries that I'm always nursing along. SolCore Fitness has not only made me stronger and more healthy, but they also have worked with me and my crazy travel schedule. I really enjoy the weekly classes and the personal training sessions really help. Thank you SolCore

I was looking for some help correcting the way I move to resolve some asymetry I've noticed in my body. I also realized I hunch my shoulders. After 8 months, my posture is better and I'm noticing improvement in my feet. Ekemba and Jo are good teachers- pushing with patience and they have good senses of humor. Totally fascinated by the principle of making space in your spine that drives the exercises and stretching we do. Glad to have found them!
