I travel often and frequent many different gyms...this is by far one of the best gyms I have traveled to. The staff was friendly, and though the daily pass rate is a steep $15 compared to the industry standard of $10, it's money well spent,

Had a Bridal Boot Camp class with Madison H & it was amazing! We had seven girls and we all got an excellent sweat! Madison’s positive and encouraging attitude kept us all going. Additionally, I appreciated Madison’s knowledge on how to strengthen specific areas of the body. I would highly recommend Fitness on Broughton, & working with Madison! Thanks for the experience!

Fitness on Broughton has been my gym for 4 years since I moved to downtown Savannah and I have watched it go through a transformation. At first, I only went to this gym because of the location... the customer service was lacking - very few people were friendly, and the equipment was constantly having issues. I noticed a huge change as soon as Denise became the manager. Denise really cares and hires friendly and considerate people. I regularly attend the 5:30 classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday led by Sean (TRX and Insanity.) I love that these are included in my membership. I continued to go to these classes until I was 38 weeks pregnant, and Sean and the rest of the staff were so accommodating and welcoming and never discouraged me from working out while pregnant, and would help me find modifications when necessary. I feel like family with most of the evening staff and made sure to come show off my "fitness baby" when he was born. I also had no problem putting a freeze on my membership via e-mail for a couple months after my baby was born and I was unable to work out.The gym suffered an unfortunate setback in the last year or so when equipment was damaged by leaks from Starbucks, but Denise did everything she could to make it right as quickly as possible. All members got a free month to help make up for the situation that was really out of her control. On the plus side, a lot of the gym was redone when this happened, so it is better than ever.If you previously had a bad experience with FOB, I highly recommend that you give it another chance, as it is truly a different gym than it was a few years ago. The customer service is great, the downtown location is great, and the classes are great.

Top 5 reasons Fitness On Broughton is better than a big-box chain gym:1. Dedicated space for powerlifting with Rogue rubber plates.2. Spotlessly clean from top to bottom, including the men's facilities.3. Orderly weight room with deep variety of free weights and machines.4. Friendly, personalized service.5. Fantastic location in the heart of downtown Savannah.Whether you're visiting the area (like me) or shopping for a membership, give this local gym a shot!

Very convenient location for those who live or work downtown. Not a huge gym, but good equipment, and the staff is friendly.

Every time I'm in town, I stop by this gym. I love the atmosphere. It's a cozy "traditional" gym with no frills.

First of all, this gym is breaking the law by not having an AED on sight and playing copyrighted music without permission. Second, THEY DONT DISINFECT their equipment. The equipment is old and rusted. The manager has no idea what she is doing and their personal trainers suck. Go somewhere else.

Nice gym..... poor costumer service. On vacation and got a day pass late afternoon. The front desk associate claimed it lasted 24 hours, but I came back the next morning and they wanted to charge me again. Plus 5 dollars more than the last day.........

this gym is lacking in equipment and customer service. I froze my membership months ago due to ongoing construction in the gym, which occurred during gym hours and resulted in machines i was using not even being present on some days. On one occasion a gym staff member asked me to leave the locker room after having just gotten out of the shower in order for a man to come in and do something to the carpets. I froze my membership rather than cancel it because i thought once the construction ended i would forget my complaints and want to return. three months later i decided i was better off working out at home (that's how dismal their equipment is) and when i called to cancel, they charged me for a month after I hadn't set foot there in over three, and refused to give me a refund because "they lost my form." trust me, you are better working out at home, in a park, or anywhere-- the frustration this gym caused me far outweighed anything positive about it.
