The ZOO Health Club Savannah

a 20 min drive from River Street- (Worth it if you are a heavy lifter!) Decent selection of machines and weights. the dumbbell selection went pretty heavy (150) plenty of cables so you don't have to wait around. Only negative was no sauna. We did a day pass for 12 bucks.

I can't say enough great stuff about this place. I can't remember when I had so much fun and energy working out. The atmosphere is awesome and they pretty much have every machine for every body part. A must visit for any real athlete and bodybuilders alike. Special thanks to the owners for my tour all round. Even has a posing room.

Found this gym about 3 year ago. Great gym with a wide variety of equipment, friendly staff and a lot of dedicated individuals that attend regularly. All of the equipment works great besides some wear and tear from the high traffic this gym supports. The one drawl back I have is the cleanliness. The locker rooms could improve along with the build up of "dust" around the machines, windows and other areas. I understand this is a never ending battle and the place does have "cleaners" but the quality and frequency could definitely be improved. Would support 5 stars if the facility was maintained and cleaned more often.~J

Wow, I rarely take time to do a google review, But I don't think I could fit everything I love about this gym into one review, Absolutely an amazing abundance of clean new equipment, I have never not found a piece of equipment that I was looking for, the members also do an amazing job of wiping down the machines after use, This Gym has so much room and you never have to wait a prolonged amount of time to use a piece of equipment, When I first signed up for a membership (Which was fast and simple) I was very nervous because it was my first time in a gym ever, the staff and members have been nothing but the best and I have never had a bad experience with anyone there, This has skyrocketed my passion for lifting and building my body more than ever before, I also absolutely love their review responses dooping on planet fitness lol!! I don't see myself canceling my membership anytime soon, Thank you, owners!

I went to this gym since they were month to month.. So I joined and I was paying monthly. I spoke with Rob the owner and let him know this was not a good gym since I travel so much around the US and this is only in Savannah. He said no problem call this number which handles their clients and let them know you are giving your 30 day notice. I called and informed them that the owner Rob gave me the number which was suppose to be hassle free. Since last year they were still charging my CC until I had to cancel the card. I now have a 3rd party out of Salt Lake harassing me with 3 calls a day and now notices in the mail for payment. I left a message with the staff of The Zoo for Rob and he will not return my calls.. He and the Zoo is the typical scam of the gym industry. Don't get scammed like I did. I had to hire a lawyer now to get the harassment to end. This is the worst gym. Not only do they respond with hostility, they attack people . You don't need to school me about commitments Karen. You are aggressive and yes you have a third party harassing people out of Salt Lake. Your husband told me I could call the number and give 30 day notice . Why would give me the number if I was obligated to any contract. You can threaten me all you want , that's what your type does.

Best gym I've ever been to hands down. Maybe not the cleanest or fanciest, but let me tell ya - the atmosphere at this place is unbelievable. Everyone is yoked, lifting heavy every day, putting in max effort at all times. I would live here if I could.

Excellent facility. Visited while traveling- owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice equipment, very suitable as a competitive Powerlifter but with all the equipment a commercial gym has as well. I only wish they had t shirts in stock!

Hands down one of the best gyms we’ve been to! This place has great equipment and all the dumbbells (up to 150s!!)The owner is super friendly and helpful as well. Not to mention the gym pup is the best (she gives great hugs and kisses!!).Definitely check this place out!! It’s well worth it!!

Gym so good my wife got carried away and strained her neck. 10/10 would recommend. Would definitely become a member if we lived in the area.Also please, for the love of God, foam roll and get a lacrosse ball to avoid some muscle strains in your lifting journey.

Solid gym. Love all the signs posted 😂 they’re comedy. Front desk was nothing but kind! Very well maintained. And to top it all off they have Zyla the gym dog! The best boy ever. Definitely recommend to check this gym out …
