I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to learn jiu jitsu, or basic self defense. I have trained at several gyms before coming here, and was amazed at level of talent. Unfortunately I had to leave town and end my membership. I had some issues with the gym on the cancellation process and they were very accommodating, and more than willing to work with me. A++++++ SERVICE!!!!

Evolution MMA is an amazing facility. From coaching staff to members. Top to bottom. All around amazing. They do an exceptional job in making all feel welcome and comfortable. The level of training and professionalism is top notch. They show respect and value in each member. They take pride in the physical and mental development of everyone. Great training at the gym. The instructors are very patient, and there is a lot of 1-on-1 help, even in group classes. Highly recommended!

Over charged me, they went through a name change during this and would never provide a refund this was well over 100 bucks. When no one would return my calls and would only give me a machine that was bogus. To review worse the classes are a joke at least for the jujitsu classes I took. I am an experienced wrestler and wanted to learn some grappling techniques they basically show you an arm bar for 2 min drill it for 20 min then free for all spare....needs to be more organized it didn't hold my interest even though I was VERY motivated to join a gym like this.

This is the real deal NOT no gimmicks. Been here for only 2 months and love it. Chris and dean are awesome teachers, they pay attention to you and make sure you understand combos and drills. Excellent place.

Jiu Jitsu will make you crazy.If you really get into it you will find yourself doing squats while you brush your teeth in the shower, running to the gym in -5 degree weather, day dreaming about the proper technique to choke another person, secretly stretching while in meetings at work and possibly even putting on a little make-up to cover a black eye before you go into a board of directors meeting at work. You will also likely end up being crazy healthy, crazy in-shape and maybe even crazy ripped.There are all sorts of crazy in life. Sitting on the couch eating chips and watching TV is a different kind of crazy as is scores of other unhealthy habits. What kind of crazy are you? Over the past 6 months I have embraced this mental disorder. And I think if you dedicate yourself to it – you can be crazy too.Jason Sullins, Isaac Riggs, Jeremy Penney and countless of others at Aliance Schaumburg and Naperville have been invaluable teachers in this endeavor. Everyone is positive, friendly, and encouraging. This place is not a gym, it's a sanctuary. I've become friends with people I never would have met in any other circumstance. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.
