Edit: after the remodel (which only consisted of adding the turf area and painting the walls) I had to cancel my membership here because I kept getting promised change and nothing ever got better. Planet fitness down the street is so clean and organized, and the staff actually acknowledges you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE————————-I’ve never felt the urge to write a review until now. This gym is DISGUSTING. It literally looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years, I have never seen any employees wiping down the equipment throughout the day. The cleaning lady that’s always in the locker room is always on the phone and acts like we are in the way. There are no hair dryers like at every other gym. There are no disinfectant spray stations except for little hand sanitizer dispensers sparsely located in random places, so no one cleans their equipment. Or even bothers to put it away. There are weights and risers everywhere. The machines are so old they don’t even say the weight measurements, and many of them are rusting and have parts missing. There is always equipment out of order. I have been on several machines where you can literally unscrew parts with one finger. Curtains in the showers are moldy. The sauna is musty and has exposed metal on the benches which BURN your skin.And to top it off the employees are rude or don’t even acknowledge you because they’re always on their phones. When I came for a tour, the gentleman didn’t even offer to show me around before he was asking me which membership I wanted to pay for. That should have been my signal to run but I thought I was getting the most bang for my buck.
