Arnaldo Rosas the director spends very time teaching his classes, its always other students teaching the classes for him. They care more about the money then they do actually teaching the kids. They spend alot time preaching about referrals to increase their business. Under no circumstances will they cancel your contract once you signed it. They would rather take you to court to get the remainder balance of the contract money. Where's the professionalism, integrity at?

We love it here. Instructors are very attentive, pleasant, friendly, professional. Very clean facility. Family feel is achieved very easily. Highly recommend it to anyone!.

NK teaches a variant of Tae Kwon Do. It's set up in a way that you earn belts for attendance and not really their progress in learning skills. I've taken TKD and competed at tournaments at two different schools and this method of teaching is strange to me. My two kids are blue and brown belts and they still have a hard time with balance, kicks, and guarding. They get clobbered at tournaments by kids that obviously practice these things. It's a fun activity but it's not Karate as the name suggests, it's not really TKD (the forms are different and they use "weapons"). I give it 2 stars since its a decent activity if your kids want something fun to do but don't expect genuine martial arts training.

We having been coming to National Karate in Elk Grrove for 2 1/2 years. Our son absolutely loves it! He has learned so much and has had so much fun! The instructors have been awesome and Mr Rosas is always so welcoming! He is never too busy to give you or your child his attention! His school and Mr Rosas himself, is second to none!

We have been coming to National Karate since August 2017 with my two oldest children. We originally planned to do just the free trial but they were both instantly hooked. Karate is almost all they talk about anymore. Mr. Rosas is an incredible teacher, as are all the other teachers (including Miss Herrig, Miss Chiappetta, Mr. Fernandez, Mr. Iwanski, and others!). This program has improved their focus, drive, and I’ve never seen them happier. Such a great quality karate facility!

National Karate is a great martial arts school! I love being a student here learning Karate, Krav Maga, and getting a great workout through the aerobic Kickboxing classes. I learn something new ever day! Mr. Rosas is a fantastic instructor who is incredibly passionate about his job. I can't recommend this school enough! Come in, check it out, and see for yourself!

Great place to learn! All the instructors are friendly and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend this location for people of any age that want to learn martial arts!! Arnoldo Rosas does an amazing job running the school and is excellent with the kids, mixing inplenty of humor with the discipline and technique.

Mr. Rosas and Mr. Taitel are great teachers. This place totally changed my views about karate. It's a lifestyle that the whole family can enjoy and learn from. Kids will learn skills and discipline to last a lifetime. Go check them out!

Great place for learning martial arts. The teachers are wonderful with the kids and they teach with keeping fun mixed in to keep the kids interested in learning about self disciplne, self-defense, and respect. They have won the Daily Herald 2013 award for best place for martial arts.
