Staff have a general attitude of “don’t bug me”, place is unclean, the wooden benches in the sauna are falling apart with exposed sharp metalMake sure you have your tetanus vaccination up-to-date for the exposed nails

I have been going to LA fitness for about 18 months now. It's a great beginner gym, where most people there are beginners. Maybe around a quarter of the people are gym bros, which brings great motivation and atmosphere. I don't do cardio, but the upstairs cardio is super cool. As I am becoming more of a moderate gym person, I may consider moving on to Mountainside Fitness because the gym is always packed, not as clean as I'd like and now doesn't have all of the amenities that I desire, such as a nice and comfortable ab workout section.

Dont do the personal training, their contracts are total scams. The buy outs are insane and their team their is totally unempathetic to any situation. They lied to my gf saying that she could freeze the membership, but that was a lie. Prices have spiked everywhere and I wanted to get out so you know I can eat food, but they do not care. If they even negotiated a smaller fee, I'd be open to it, but the 4 digit fee is stupid

My encounter with Leticia (Lead Manager)at the Scottsdale LA Fitness was rather unpleasant. Her leadership approach seems to lack open-mindedness, empathy, and fairness. This short-term focus and closed-minded behavior have soured my perception of the gym. It's concerning that her personal connections might be influencing her position. This experience highlights the need for a change in leadership to create a more positive and inclusive environment for everyone involved.

Trashy gym because of trashy people and management/staff don't care. People play music loudly on Bluetooth speakers, steal all the basketballs (literally), leave garbage on or around machines and the courts, and the facilities themselves …

Hard working cleaning staff. Front desk staff always greets people upon arrival and tells them to have a good day when leaving.

Good amount of equipment but the equipment is outdated & bulky. The place needs a good cleaning, especially the restrooms, the pool area & the floors are gross. And all the equipment needs to be cleaned. Plus, there are areas where the tiles are broken in the jacuzzi. Also, the benches that you sit on in the men's dry sauna are not secure - they're very loose. They also need a more dedicated area for handicap people to work out in & need more bars to grab onto in the showers & chairs that are easier to get in & out of in the locker rooms & the front reception areas. This place has so much potential it just needs some major attention.

Visiting from out of town and this club was 100% accomodating. The younger guys is sales and gal sitting up front made our 3 week stint using the facilities SUPER easy. I would not hesitate to see them again next time in AZ.

Very outdated equipment. I remember 2/3 years ago seeing a remodel and didn’t do anything but move stuff around no new equipment. Hope this place gets it together
