LA Fitness

We went here today because our van was in the shop and we couldn’t drive all the way to our normal gym mountainside fitness at talking stick. This gym is .3 miles from my house. We got a free 3 day pass online. I am not impressed with this gym at all. For starters it cost more than mountainside. Second, the equipment is cramped together and getting old. Third, the attachments for the cable machines are horrible and falling apart. Fourth, the place doesn’t have a towel service like mountainside and the place smells dirty as soon as you walk in. Fifth, the place is extremely understaffed despite charging high prices. I will not be returning here ever again. They only get two stars instead of one because of the free gym pass today otherwise it would be a one star.

This place is really good for the cost. Haven't had to cancel my membership yet, like the other complaints, but honestly for the price it's great access to perfectly adequate equipment. Nothing to complain about. I don't go during busy times and always can get the equipment I need, sometimes just have to wait a few minutes, lots of decent people doing their thang. They have wipes to clean equipment if you want. Ladies room is clean. Has everything I need, no bells and whistles.

One of the worst ran gyms in the nation. The area manager is a complete air head and has no clue what he is doing. He doesn't do anything besides sit behind a desk. Had someone I bring in all the time and he decided I can no longer bring in guest. The staff he trains have no idea what they are doing. I have been coming to LA Fitness for 5yrs and today was the day I canceled my membership.

This gym is horrible, based off past reviews I can see why their rating is so low, the manager Carlos M is extremely rude and does not know how to treat their customers. The facility is dirty and poorly run. Stay away.

Thanks for the free 7 day pass. I will never go here again. The first time I come here, my locker was broken into and two of my credit cards taken out of my wallet, and charged within about an hour. Terrible first experience. Talk about awful members! Wouldn’t want to surround my self with low life’s like that. Would not recommend this place at all.

I've been costumer for ten years...during the pandemic I froze my account they canceled it by accident. I called to activate it the manager leticia refused to help me and literally told me she won't she said no one will help me and hung up not sure if she was having a bad day or she just has a poorly attitude. She was very snappy and would not honor the price. She said I would have to pay money for the time it was canceled that doesn't even makes sense. She was very unprofessional and doesn't represent la fitness well. She just lost business...she can care less.. its sad that these people are in charge I'm sure if the owners knew these are the ones representing the company would be devastated. She didn't even offer to find me a new deal or anything. I was ready to pay and had my card out..Its okay tomorrow I will sign up somewhere else there are plenty of nice gyms in the Scottsdale area.

Decent gym and equipment. Kind of cramped space. Maintenance is getting worse. Roof leaks regularly. Cleanliness is soso. Staff, other than greeters, don't seem to care about anything.

GROSS GYM. Showers have black mold and fungus bugs, have no idea why Health Dept doesn't close them down. Female sauna has never worked properly, does not get hot enough & exiting door opens to much & closes slowly letting all warm air out. Gym smells gross, humid & muggy. Very crowded gym 95 % male. Planet Fitness so much better but no pool or sauna there. People go in jacuzzi w underwear & don't shower. Just gross.

LA Fitness in Scottsdale is great! I love the indoor pool and the staff was very friendly when they helped me sign up
