The gym itself is great - lots of equipment in great condition, clean, and plenty of space. The reason I'm giving it 3/3.5 is the staff - if you have someone like Stella, then the gym is a 5 star i.e. you get friendly support, a happy atmosphere, and honesty when dealing with gym contracts; if you get some of the other staff, you might get someone who is self-absorbed, doesn't greet you, criticizes your work-out unjustly and who tries to rip you off with contract renewals. It's also very confusing to have staff members who work at a fitness club that are severely overweight. I'd understand if they were hired severely overweight but after 6 months, you could see a "journey" towards fitness - that would be truly motivating! (please note this had been mistakenly attributed to Edwardsville IL and I deleted it and reposted here)

Kind of dystopian by gym standards, but it gets the job done in a pinch.Also, it’s a cardio mill and all the machines are facing tvs playing food channels.

Went to this gym since 2011 and I really loved it. The staff was always friendly except the 2 old guys that work at night. I was doing sit-ups at 940pm on a Friday when one of the guys came up and kicked me (I guess I didn’t hear him with my headphones in) and told me they were closing. When I asked if they were open til 10 he said no I told you we’re closing. I go to walk out at exactly 10pm and he starts laughing saying congratulations your membership has been cancelled. Would never go here again even if they paid me and the guy should have been fired.
