I’ve had great experience so far with this gym. Super personalized support to get stronger and work with my various middle aged quirky body so I don’t hurt myself along the way. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, workouts are fun!

You’d be hard pressed to find a gym anywhere that’s as supportive and welcoming as the people here. The workouts are great and the people are even greater.

These people aren't actually serious about getting stronger, healthier, swoller, nothing. It's just a bunch of yuppies with too much time on their hands that don't actually know how to get stronger. They just play with little kid weights all day.You could think of this place as a adults daycare center for the adolescent minded.Want to actually get a good work out? Go to golds.

I've been a member at Rocket for 2.5 years now and absolutely love it! Workouts are CrossFit style and highly varied... one day you'll find your 1 rep max clean & jerk, the next day you'll be jumping and running and rowing, and then next day you'll try out some new gymnastics skills, all with the support and encouragement of your wonderful coach and fellow athletes. For me personally, as a former collegiate athlete and someone who did CrossFit at 2 other gyms before finding Rocket, I have grown so much stronger and improved the mechanics of my lifts and skills because of the incredible coaches at Rocket (shout out to Jen!) and the unique culture of this gym. The elimination of CrossFit labeling (RX weights and heights, gendered bars, etc.) has actually nudged me to listen to my own body more, pushing myself on days when I feel able to do it, and scaling back when I need to. This has allowed me to stay safe and injury free, get stronger than I have ever been before, and feel so much more able to do the usual fitness-y things required in daily life (like deadlifting a tantruming child off of the floor). The Rocket community is incredibly welcoming and supportive for all levels and ages!

Been doing CrossFit and CrossFit style workouts for 12 years. I’ve done comps and also been a casual fitness-er. Rocket is full of folks that just want to get better, be healthier, and do it in an environment that is safe and supportive of all folks regardless of gender or ability level. Coaches are very experienced and well trained to adapt workouts to accommodate for injuries and fitness goals. If you live locally, join us. If you are in town, drop in. Everybody else—Use the barbell that you want to use and stop hating on a gym that you’ve never been to just because you disagree with the way we do things. Be better, or just come to Rocket and we will help you get there.

Locals love this gym and so do I. Weight lifting and fitness instructors, convenient location, and friendly fellow athletes. Every exercise is modifiable for what you're ready to do. Getting stronger already💪! Ignore the out-of-town trolls, they don't actually come to this gym because they'd reluctantly love it too. …

I’ve been attending this gym for about 10 years. Rockets members and the coaching staff are family! It’s an honor to be apart of a community that shows up for one another as athletes and as humans. The Rocket Team has forever operated in a way to shape shift to the needs of the members, first and foremost. Show up as you are- sweating and dancing encouraged!

Love Rocket. Workouts are hard but completely scalable. Tons of variety in the classes, as well as opportunities to really dig into certain things like weightlifting, HIIT, or kettlebells. I really appreciate Rocket's focus on listening to your body/where you're at on a given day, and not pushing/shaming everyone to some arbitrary one-size-fits-all goal for a workout. This has helped me avoid injury (I don't have time for that!), get stronger, and feel comfortable trying things I never thought I'd try (rope climb, I'm looking at you!). Great gym, great community!

Have been a member for 3 years. Joined during COVID times, when this gym had online classes whenever regulations did not allow in-person classes. Just one example of how the coaches adapt to meet the needs of members. This is a body positive, age affirming, gender inclusive community. The classes are challenging, AND totally adaptable. The goal is meeting your individual goals, not comparing yourself to others.
