I've been a member of SSP/QA for a bit over two years. With them and my naturopath, I'm in the best health I've been in decades. I'm a 67 yo male. The trainers are magnificent, listen to concerns and encourage beyond belief. AND they know exactly what they're doing as they're very well educated in strength training, etc.. It's also nice to be in a place, at my age, not totally filled with gym bunnies and a few other ancient people like myself. I've never been intimidated by the atmosphere. Allie, Danny, Sam and Natalie totally ROCK. I'm sure the others do to. Just haven't had that much contact with them. BEST money I've EVER spent along with the naturopath. Many thanks to SSP/QA for everything.

Excellent trainers, great community - super fun, diverse, welcoming and safe. SSP QA makes working out fun, something I look forward to every day. Trainers are knowledgeable, approachable and patient. It feels more like a community where I work out with supportive friends vs. a gym.

I've been a member at SSP for about a year and have enjoyed both the personal training and classes! Before joining, I was worried about my athletic ability, but the SSP team (especially Allie) made me feel so welcome. There is a place here for everyone regardless where you're starting from. Being a part of the SSP community has truly been an empowering experience.

If I had to describe my experience in one word, it would be "welcoming". During my initial fitness assessment with Allie, I knew this was the place for me to join. After a serious health incident a little over a year ago, I couldn't exercise. This left me with the feeling of not being the real me. Now that I'm able to train, I know that everyone at SSP is rooting for me. I've only been a member for a short time, but feel like I'm a part of an amazing fitness family. There is no toxic gym energy here, which, in my experience, is unusual. SSP welcomes people of all ages and fitness levels.

I've been working out at SSP for about 8 months now. It's great. Not only do I love the convenience of it being close by (I walk, but they have plenty of free parking for those that live further away) but the trainers are awesome. I also love working out with like-minded people of all ages. I've gotten to get to know a lot of my neighbors here.

The SSP community is really amazing! Every trainer I have worked with has been incredibly knowledgeable and fun to work with and I know I have made so much progress with my strength over the past year. I'm reminded of just how much progress I've made every time I have to lift my 90 lb puppy into the car. :-) The workouts are challenging and the people help make it all fun so I really don't think there is much more I could ask for.

SSP is a fantastic workout space and community. It is not a regular gym, where you go in and work out on your own; they only offer private training sessions (in a small group setting) and two varieties of exercise classes (one more strength-focused, the other more cardio-focused.)This means that there's no unsupervised time, and for a person like me, this is optimal because I have no idea what I'm doing. However, I suspect that even an experienced athlete would enjoy the atmosphere and conviviality of the sessions, and would get a lot out of them physically.SSP is a tremendous asset to the neighborhood, a real "third space" where you can get to know the people who live around you. It promotes not only physical health, but social health as well.

I have joined countless gyms - of all types and sizes - in the Seattle area, but nothing stuck like SSP. Once I joined, it felt like I had an instant community of friends and experts that helped me feel comfortable, challenged, and supported. SSP is so much more than a gym, and what they provide is invaluable no matter your age, fitness level, experience, or needs. I could not recommend SSP more!

I found SSP when I moved to Seattle because I was looking for Spartan training, and found that Coach Chris is an SGX certified coach! I came for the Spartan training and have stayed for everything else the gym has to offer. I love the community feel that this gym has- the coaches and other members are all so friendly. I enjoy being challenged in personal training sessions (sometimes I need someone else to tell me to really push myself!) and I appreciate that the coaches work so hard to create programs that will help us reach our goals. Last year, training at SSP got me to successfully complete two Spartan races, and I look forward to competing in more this year with the SSP Spartan Team!

This place is a must! SSP is an asset to the community. The staff are super knowledgable, the class sizes are great, but most importantly, the culture feels inclusive. All exercises are approachable regardless of athletic skill or familiarity with equipment. I really love the strength classes with Chris as he creates an interesting line-up of exercises to keep it entertaining and has a subtle way of encouraging you to push yourself. I always walk out of that class feeling stronger. Whatever your personal goals might be, there's a class for you.
