Great classes, friendly staff, modern facilities, and knowledgable instructors who make everyone feel welcome. The heat adds an extra level to the workouts, which I love. The Hot 8 Yoga building used to be Yogaworks, which shut down during Covid. While it was heartbreaking to see it close, I’m grateful that another wonderful yoga studio like Hot 8 Yoga took its place.

I was studio hopping for a lil bit, tryna find somewhere that sat well w/my head & heart 🖤, & hot 8 yoga was the place. I live, & practice, in the South Bay, but all the hot 8’s I’ve been to are beautiful, & the employees, from top to bottom, have been very good to me. I struggle w/more things than 1, but hot 8 has been an anchor for me & kept me grounded, for sure.

First I'll start with The Good: Some of the Hot Yoga teacher are great and most of the staff are friendly and cordial. You can always find free parking in the area. The Bad: I had put my membership on hold as I wasn't able to take any classes for a while. And even though there is a constant barrage of messages and emails sent to you when you are a member, not a courtesy notification that they were about to charge my card again. As soon as I found out I asked them to consider to refunding the charge for classes that I can't use. Here in lies the crux; behind the veneer of niceness is a big corporation, with watertight contracts, upper management and impersonal rules to be followed. They are like the big fitness centres cashing in on fees from people that are not attending classes.Another point is; whilst they offer a lot of classes if you like a certain style of yoga the schedule is actually quite limited.Once again some really nice people work here, but , if you are interested in hot yoga in the South Bay Area they're a way better options. There are several small studios that are way more personal and intimate (and potentially more reasonable on a human to human level) if you like a sausage factory style fitness corporation than Hot 8 is probably for you!

Great place to grow in yoga and be fit all in one place!!. Before Hot 8, i did yoga 2 to 3 times a week, but still needed a cardio/ fitness workout to feel fit. At Hot 8, I go 4 to 6 times a week because the combination of classes offered daily meets my need to be fit. The instructors are great and approachable and the facilities are well maintained... almost like a nice Spa. There are several locations throughout Los Angeles so it is easy to work around my schedule!

Beautiful studio, friendly and accommodating staff, and killer classes. If you are looking for a challenge, the Sculpt and Yoga Barre classes are my favorites. Love Erica W, Nancy N, and Tia S! They have, and continue to be absolutely lovely. They encourage you to work hard to achieve your goals!
