Equinox Bloomfield Hills is a high-end gym aimed at providing a luxurious and clean workout environment. The gym is renowned for its exceptional staff, modern equipment, and a broad selection of classes, including yoga and boxing. Members commend the pristine condition of the facilities and the professional and friendly attitude of the staff. Although the gym offers numerous amenities such as a saltwater pool, steam room, and personal training, it lacks some features like a dry sauna and an outdoor pool.

The gym membership is on the pricier side, and it closes early, which can be inconvenient for those with packed schedules. Despite its shortcomings, Equinox Bloomfield Hills excels in creating an exclusive and motivating fitness atmosphere, making it an appealing choice for those seeking high-quality gym experience.

Cons:

  • Expensive membership fees
  • Limited hours, especially on weekends
  • Lacks dry sauna and outdoor pool

BE LIFETIME OR BE NOTHING!

This gym needs to improve their hours significantly. Have they not seen all of the reviews posted about this? Why don't they listen?

WOW! This gym blows me away everytime around. The plunge pool the hot tub spa, the service Derryck especially is an angel! What a professional nice enthusiastic man. You can tell he loves what he does. I love everything about this gym. It’s got to be the best equinox in the entire US.

This is a good gym until it isn't. I have been a member for 2 ½ years, and I used the club for one-to-one training and pilates sessions. Both of the people I worked with were very good. The problem arises when you try to leave the gym. They have a policy that they will not refund money for unused training/pilates sessions. They are essentially unabashedly stealing $4990 of my money. I want to leave this gym entirely. I am freezing my membership to get physical therapy for a chronic re-injury. They make the freezing process difficult and unpleasant. There are a number of similar complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau. Please read them and buyer beware!Update: Equinox did resolve this issue to my satisfaction. I had to be a bit annoying to get that to happen, but ultimately they came through. Still, be aware, you need a solid medical reason to get a refund on unused sessions in a package deal.

The gym closes way too early, wish they could change this to accommodate people's schedules

The owner of Lux cafe, housed within Equinox, is rude and disrespectful beyond belief! Everything else about Equinox is great (lovely trainers and facilities), so its a shame that they should vet their subcontractors better than that.

Gym closes way to early and they shut steam room down 45 minutes before closer

Nice facility but always seems a little empty and I have never heard of a gym closing so early, especially on weekends

If you like a gym that closes at 9 pm Mo- Th, 8 pm on Fri, and 5 pm on weekends….where the shower heads haven’t been cleaned in nearly a year, where maintenance staff are all rude school-aged ”adults” except 1-2 of them, where the gym starts closing 30 min before actual close, where they spray chemical cleaners in showers next to yours while you’re using it, then this may be the one for you! Oh and if you try to share your joy with management, they absolutely do not care, which feels nice! Same with corporate. 0/10 would pass. Only plus is it’s basically empty majority of the time, which should have been my first clue 🙄
