I came here a couple of times while on vacation. The staff is super friendly. The space is new and has all of the latest equipment. My coaches, Julia and Brooke, were great. This a great studio to come to.

Orangetheory Royal Oak is more a gym studio, it is a community of fitness and encouragement. The coaches assist you to meet your specific fitness goals. They also ensure you are doing exercises using the correct form which maximizes results and reduces chance for injury. I also appreciate the coaches for providing fitness suggestions foe everyone’s level. All are welcomed and all will be changed.

Studio managers, employees, and staff are bullies to one another. The company is run by a bunch of rich, entitled white people who were probably bullied at some point in their own lives, so feel like they need to take it out on other employees. They don't let you move up in a company if they don't like you, or see you are passionate and successful. Scott, apparently the owner of this franchise, doesn't seem concerned with the way the studio is running. BULLIES. FAVORITISM. DON'T WORK HERE. And please do not support a company that feeds into narcissism and egotism.

I don't really like going to the gym. Whenever I go to a fitness center, workout room, or large gym I end up getting a bit overwhelmed and spend more time trying to figure out what to do next than I do actually working out. Having a coach-led class that gives me a great workout in just one hour, where every workout feels different and challenging, is well worth the membership cost for me. I have fun, burn a bunch of calories, and lift a few weights. Perfect!
