Giorgio's has everything I need and want in a gym. The locker room is clean and spacious. They have all the typical cardio machines, and two weight areas. The staff is very friendly, and I have never had to wait for a cardio machine. On top of all this, the membership price is great. They do have tanning, though I don't use tanning booths so I can't speak about it.

Good gym, super nice staff. just hours of operation suck. maybe its just me but I don't think a gym should be closed 6pm on weekends or 10pm on weekdays. other than that, great gym. plenty of equipment and space. never too packed.

Giorgio's is small with not enough equipment packed into too tight of a space. The atmosphere is hostile with some of the regulars and the staff who will freak out if you make ANY noise when lifting. Even with the bumper plates on the platform (only one, not worth it). If these things don't bother you, Planet Fitness is just down the street with cheaper memberships and more equipment. Don't waste your time here.If you are looking for a place that won't get after you for being intimidatingly noisy just for having more than one plate on the bar, MUV Fitness is an affordable and very well equipped option with month-to-month plans. Additionally, Gold's Gym in South Hill is friendly, even hosting small powerlifting meets in the past, but I can't speak to their memberships. Giorgio's just isn't the best option for most people, no matter if you're a powerlifter or casual fitness enthusiast.

Terrible experience, and terrible business when needed to cancel membership. Not very friendly staff. They laugh at you..." You are lucky if I let you cancel your membership",That was I been told. You don't treat customers that way..

The gym was nice, clean, and I really liked the trainers. My complaint is they gave incorrect information over the phone on how to cancel your membership. I did what they told me to do based on what I was told....which was different from the contract I signed. After one year I of course did not have a copy of my contract. I am very disappointed with the customer service.
