The Human Performance Center in St. George, UT, offers a comprehensive gym experience with state-of-the-art facilities. Located at 291 S 700 E, it features a large aquatic center, modern workout equipment, fitness classes, a climbing wall, and clean, well-kept environments. Students and faculty enjoy free access, but the general public lacks membership options. Visitors frequently praise the swimming pool, the bright natural light from the large windows, and the smoothie bar on the second floor. Great pool for a comp swim state meet! Some food and drinks on site. Easy parking. Didn’t get too hot in the grand stands.

Beautiful facility for a swim meet! BUT there is only one bathroom stall in the men’s restroom for probably 700-1000 total spectators. There more bathrooms in the building but one one for the spectators.

I really love this gym and think it is a great resource to the students. I do wish there was either a membership that nonstudents could buy or have the option of a student could bring a guest in. My husband is not enrolled at Dixie but it's such a hassle not being able to bring him in with me to the hpc.

They have a wide variety of tools and equipment here, and if you're a member of the community and have the opportunity to participate in an activity here, I'd highly recommend. There aren't any community passes unfortunately, but they do occasionally have summer classes and activities here. For students, Id recommend at least a visit so you can see everything available. They have many different fitness and FAST classes, workout equipment, climbing wall, and, of course, the pool.Everything is clean and well kept, and it has pretty much everything you could need, with the added benefit of being free!

Great aquatic center. They also have other work out facilities in the building.

Great facility but DSU students have been done a disservice by having no gym on Sunday. Why would a gym be closed on Sunday? Most students only have time on the weekends for working out or recreation. Separation of church and state is nonexistent for some reason at this PUBLIC university. Makes no sense.

Absolutely beautiful new facility! I thought it was a gym only. But, was told it houses nursing classes as well as other physical science rooms. That does make sense. But, at the same time, other schools have the whole building dedicated as a gymnasium only. Still, it is an amazing place!

Beautiful facility, brand new and looks gorgeous! Easy to view the swimmers. The large floor to ceiling windows provide nice natural light. The shades are drawn for the afternoon/evening sun so swimmers don't star at the sun. I hope we have more meets here.If you go, there is a smoothie bar on the second floor that serves great drinks and bowls. Try one, you won't be disappointed.
