My husband and I stopped and got a workout at Muddy Water and loved it. You can tell it’s a great community and the programming is thought out. Good programming goes a long way. The coach was also very helpful and involved to make sure we all had good form on the movements. The gym was clean and it had all the equipment needed. Definitely would recommend.

I would not recommend this gym. I coached for 7 months, and experienced firsthand the disrespect, dishonesty, and lack of accountability on the part of the owner for members and coaches. Absolutely loved the members, but the atmosphere created by the owner is extremely toxic.

Previously I had given a better rating, when I first joined the gym. After being a member for a few months, the environment there became very toxic because of the owner, James. After having been gone for a while it was brought to my attention by several other members that he was spreading nasty rumors about me. CrossFit is designed to uplift people and make them better. James misses that mark by a mile and chooses instead to bully his customers. I highly recommend to go elsewhere for a healthy fitness experience.

The members were great, but after coaching for 11 months here I slowly but surely saw the way the owner treated the members. I eventually left due to powple getting kicked out because of dumb reasons, such as leaving class 5 min early to go help their spouse with their baby. Rumors and lies were spread. Promises were broken. This place has had great coaches and members chased off. Had potential, but is a toxic environment over the long run.

I have been in the CrossFit space for 10 years and have coached at four different gyms. James and staff run a tight ship and really make you feel at home while making sure movement patterns and safety are of upmost priority. It's clear that James is in this for the right reason as he is very knowledgable, kind and personable with members, coaches and drop ins.I would highly recommend CrossFit Muddy Water to anyone who is looking to improve movement patterns, increase strength and improve their fitness and aerobic capacity. CrossFit Muddy Water has a great community and superb coaching and is a regular stop for me during my trips to St. George/Southern Utah.

Since stepping foot into this gym I’ve felt welcomed by everyone. It’s nice to be pushed and held accountable. You can see the hard work and dedication that the owner and the coaches put in everyday. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to give crossfit a try and push themselves:)

Crazy good! I am new to the area and with no prior crossfit experience. I showed up at Crossfit Muddy Water not knowing what to expect. Holy moly has this been an overwhelmingly great experience. It is a MUST do. The only thing that beats the workouts is the community! Great coaching, positive vibes, and very strong results!
